I walked around Pledis, heading towards my own personal studio. It's been a several years and I had made a name for myself as a music producer. I've been helping to write and produce songs for all the latest groups that have come out of Pledis, specifically a group called Seventeen. These boys are so full energy, it's sometimes hard to keep up. I still help Aaron's band Nu'est, but it's been different without Minhyun Oppa not here. But I'm happy for him in Wanna One. I've even got to help them on a few of their songs when Minhyun Oppa asks.
As for me and Aaron, we've been dating, in secret, for the past year and half. After having finally made a name for myself, and Nu'est having already completed their Japanese debut, I felt it was a good enough time to begin our relationship. Little did I know that they would be thrown into Produce 101 and then their work afterwards preparing for a comeback without Minhyun Oppa. But nonetheless the perks of being a music producer is that I get to see every time he's in the studio, which happened to be quite often.
As I sat down in my studio, I began messing with some beats just to get a feel for the music, before I start working on a new project. No sooner did I start did I hear rowdy boys clambering into my studio with pleading looks.
I turned in my chair and smiled, "Hey Jihoon, Jeonghan, Jisoo, Seokmin, and Seungkwan! How can I help you guys?"
Jihoon was the first to speak, "Noona, could you help with our song for our new album?"
I checked my watch, "Sure, why not? I still have plenty of time before I have to go meet Aaron."
Okay so maybe our relationship wasn't so secret, but they were good kids!
They all smiled in relief, and I got to work. I asked Jihoon where he had trouble with the audio, and the other where they had trouble in their singing parts. After about an hour or so, we finally finished. I looked at the clock and realized that I was late by 30 min. Damnit, I always get so absorbed in the music, I internally sigh. I saw the boys off, and then headed to meet Aaron. He was taking me out to this nice cafe that we always visit for our secret dates during work. I smiled at the thought. God, if his fans found out, they would kill me. I snickered at the thought, because I knew that Aaron would protect me no matter the cost. I soon arrived to the cafe, but it looked like there was only Aaron in the there. That's weird...
I came in and sat down, laughing a bit, "It's like a ghost town!"
"Heh, yeah..." he said nervously.
Taking his hand in mind, "Hey what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just have something to tell you..."
I stayed quiet for him to finish, and he fidgeted in his seat, "So, umm, you see the thing is, um, I talked to pd-nim about us..."
I was shocked at this, "What made you do that? Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad, just curious as to why now?"
"Well you see, um, it's better if I just show you," he then stood up and knelt down on one knee and took out a simple yet beautiful ring. "Will you do the honor of marrying me?"
I gasped, I didn't expect that his pd-nim would accept this, but I suppose I should be glad. I smiled widely and nodded yes. He grinned like he just won the lottery. He slipped the ring onto my finger, and we both stood and held each other tight. This was going to be the start of a hectic, yet wonderful life. I could feel it. My happiness could only grow from here.
