Daisypaw saw her sister taking care of Icekit again. She was cleaning his white pathetic fur. She chuckled. She was glad Talonkit pounced on him. It was hilarious to see him become a dust ball.

Daisypaw walked over to the warrior guarding the entrance.

He glanced at her and asked, "So what do she-cats train to do?"

Daisypaw glanced at him and said, "Taking care of kits and elders, like when you were a kit,"

He seemed to shiver and then he looked away from her.

Daisypaw snarled under her breath and said, "I'm going to go get moss. I'll be back then,"

He nodded and let her through.

Daisypaw walked through the forest. She wanted to hunt, if she was going to become a warrior all her time would need to be focused on hunting and battle training.

She tasted the air like her mentor had taught her. She knew she wouldn't catch anything, but she didn't mind.

She smelled mouse, those were easy prey. She crouched and made sure to make no sound on the ground. She saw the mouse. It was nibbling on the fresh grass, she couldn't believe toms thought she-cats couldn't catch these thing.

When she got close enough she pounced. She felt like she was flying and she landed on the mouse. She swiftly sliced it and it went limp. She felt very proud of her catch.

She carried it to a tree that has moss on it. She scrapped most of the moss on it and wrapped it around the mouse. It covered it's scent as well. Maybe they'd think she brought a bunch of moss back like a good she-cat.

She carried it back to camp and no one seemed to care, they just thought it was moss probably. She smiled and walked towards the nursery. She went to Sandvine and laid down her 'moss.'

Sandvine unwrapped the moss and her eyes light up. She probably was proud of her apprentice.

"You caught this?" She asked quietly.

"Yes, I did everything you taught me. It was pretty dumb to be honest. It just kinda sat their and was nibbling grass, and then I wrapped it in moss to disguise it's scent," Daisypaw said trying to explain everything quietly.

Sandvine purred and said, "You know what. I'll give this to Icekit. He seems to 'love' she-cats just like his father," she walked over to him and laid the mouse down.

"Thank you, I was starving," Icekit said as he bit into the mouse. He seemed to like it more than she thought. She laughed in her mind.

'A she-cat caught that you little brat!' Daisypaw thought as she laid moss down for Sandvine's next litter of kits. Her due date was close and her old nest was soggy.
