Chapter 1️⃣9️⃣

"So Audrey, there's something I wanna talk to you about." Jacob says, as we both settle in for dinner.

"Yeah sure what's up?" I ask, beginning to eat my taco.

"So on Saturday, my family is having a family reunion out of town, and I was wondering if you wanted to join?"

"You want me to meet your family?" I choked a bit, none of my previous relationships had never asked that before.

"Well yeah, my ex never showed up to any & I just think it would be a great opportunity for my family & for you to meet everyone." He said quietly.

I felt scared for a moment, realizing that I would be meeting everyone, including his parents, but it is a pretty good opportunity.

"Jacob I would love too." I said, clearing my throat.

"Awesome, I'll let them know. We would have to pack tonight and leave out tomorrow morning if we want to be there on time if that's okay?" He asks.

I simply and agree, and begin to finish up my food.

"This should be fun." I said.

"It will, and my family will love you & I can't wait." He said.

I smiled & put our now finished dishes into the sink.

Afterwards, I went upstairs to go pack.

"Jacob." I yell, from the top of the stairs.

"Yeah babe ?" He asks, as he makes it at the top of the stairs.

"How many nights are we staying, so I now how much to pack?" I asked.

"Let's see, it's Thursday and we get there Friday, we're leaving Sunday, so 3." He says.

"Okay." I reply.

"I'm gonna go get our suitcases from the closet downstairs brb." He said as he left.

I head over to my closet and search for three outfits.

Bye the time I do so, Jacob returns with our suitcases.

I pack my clothes & a remainder of other important things, then I was done.

I decided to go shower since I haven't already.

I strip from my cloths, and let the warm water soak me as I step in.

I wet my hair, & wash it with my mango shampoo and conditioner.

Once I was done, I wash up, shave, and what not, then hop out.

I wrap my hair in one towel, & my body with another.

I walk out into the bedroom to find Jacob dozing off, so I tip toed to my drawer & grab a pair of underwear.

I crept over to Jacob's drawer & got out one of his tee shirts. They were so comfy & smelled like him.

I go back into the bathroom and get dress. I braid my damp hair & brush my teeth.
