A/N: The photo above is a collage I've made. I asked four of my friends that I know in fact reads this story, to tell me why they love it so far! I hope the rest of you can agree to them! Also, this is by far the longest chapter of the story so far!! Have a great rest of your day/night!

*Cole's POV*

I had attempted to sing along to the radio hoping to get as much as a simple laugh out of Ryan, but I failed miserably. Though, I was not stopping there.

Ryan was slowly opening up to me and if that's not progress then I don't know what is. He's been less scared to show his emotions to me. I can see it in his eyes, just by the way he looked at me earlier when I asked if I had a shot at becoming a singer.

Today I realized that Ryan has the most comforting eyes I have ever seen in my entire life, sadly those eyes are usually masked by fear.

And I intend on making that fear disappear.

I'm no Magician of course, but this doesn't involve that type of magic. Once I paid for both me and Ryan's tickets to see the movie Ryan had looked shocked. I knew well that it was because how much I paid for the tickets but, I could care less about the money.

The only thing I cared about right now was that Ryan was enjoying himself and that he felt comfortable and safe. After I paid for our drinks and popcorn we found our seats in the back of the theater. I figured that that's where Ryan would feel the most safe.

Also, I made sure that he sat next to the wall so I was on the other side of him. Just so he wouldn't have to worry about sitting next to a complete stranger.

"Did I ever tell you that you look really amazing today?" I whispered in Ryan's ear softly causing him to blush. Sadly, it was at the same time the lights dimmed. But, in the time that I've spent with Ryan I've noticed that he blushes rather easily and fairly quickly. So it shouldn't be challenging to make him blush again.

I had picked an action movie for us to watch. I had asked Ryan beforehand if he cared what we watched, but he just shook his head no. About thirty minutes into the movie I had to admit that I made a very good choice in which movie to watch.

Normally I don't watch action movies so this was different. But action movies are supposed to keep your interest and I wanted Ryan to at least enjoy the movie. But, when I saw him look down at his hands from the corner of my eye I knew that he wasn't enjoying it as much as I had wanted him to.

I should've asked his mom if he enjoyed movies.

Suddenly, I felt Ryan tap my shoulder lightly. I look down at him only to find him staring at me with soft eyes. But, I noticed fear in them too. Was the movie scaring him?

"What's wrong?" I whispered to him. Ryan hesitated before looking down at my hand that was set on the arm rest. I was confused at first until Ryan leaned close to my ear and whispered, sending shivers down my spine.

"C-Can I hold y-your hand?"

I. Was. Shocked. Did he really just ask me that? Or was I imagining it? Ryan leaned back looking at me with nothing but fear in his eyes. I had to take the fear away. I smiled and took Ryan's small hand in my big one, intertwining our fingers.
