After a long time of thinking, there was no hope in Jess and Jack's eyes. They were at a loss, and didn't know what to do. Jess could be okay without Alex, of course. She was independent, but that doesn't change the fact that she had started to fall in love with Alex. He had started to do the same, but now knowing what he knew without the other two knowing so, he wasn't going to let Lisa do this to Jess.
The option had come up in all their minds to kill Lisa, but nevertheless they declared it was all too selfish to take a life, just so they wouldn't go to jail for a crime they really committed, Jess and Alex. He had sought out another plan, though. Alex decided to spy on Lisa, and find out what she had to hide so he could find some piece of information to shut her up with. He knew it was a rather hard and risky task, seeing as she was the queen of stalking and being crazy. A devious plan he knew was absolutely sure to work crossed his mind, and he knew he couldn't possibly wait any longer.
He knew this would look bad in everyone else's eyes, not knowing his plan which he couldn't possibly tell anyone. He knew it would hurt Jess, but in the end it would all be okay. Staying strong through this whole thing to get what he wanted, he was highly capable of doing so. Avoiding Jess all he could with Lisa attached to his hip was something he tried to do, just to avoid possibly hurting her. Eventually, he left the table to sit with Lisa and Jess and Jack came back. Which meant everyone knew Alex was now becoming Lisa's boyfriend, and Jess knew how crazy she was and that he was also for doing what he was doing. She wouldn't know the true meaning behind it though, not yet. Not until he got what he came for.
He sat around with the guys, backstage aiming to go on soon. They were playing a show at the Ottobar, who liked to have them regularly now that they were signed to Hopeless Records. With him was also Lisa, who the guys were rightly not so keen of. Jack especially, and Alex wondered why that was. It seemed she had ruined everything, knocked over guitars and such, making them late to go on stage. Alex had to act unfazed, which he definitely was not, while the guys were mad especially at him.
"Dude, why did you have to bring her along?" Rian groaned as he tuned his drum.
"It's the same as me bringing Jess along." He shrugged simply, but he knew it wasn't.
"No. It is not. Jess actually isn't dumb and would make us late to go on stage. This doesn't look good, man." Jack narrowed his eyes at Alex.
"They don't seem to care." Alex shrugged again, brushing it all off as he had to. The crowd was chanting; "All Time Low! All Time Low!"
"Well, we do and so do the professionals. Now get your act together. That crazy bitch isn't your type, anyways." Jack rolled his eyes and knocked into Alex as he walked past him. It was then that Alex knew Jack knew something.
"Excuse me?" He heard Lisa chime in. He sighed, and knew he had to defend her or this wouldn't work out. He reminded himself again why he was doing this. Somehow he would get the chance to talk to Jack later, alone.
"Why the fuck are you calling my girlfriend crazy?" Alex spat at Jack. That resulted in Jack getting into his face.
"Because she is, and she's getting on my nerves." Jack groaned.
"Well, get over it. You get on our nerves all the time, but we still tolerate you." Alex said, which was kinda true, and now he was actually saying things he meant but would regret. He was too far in.
"Yeah, you do tolerate it. You have to. Because it's my fucking band, if anything our band but yours because you've only been in it but a few months. So yeah, tolerate me or get the fuck out of my band." Jack slit his eyes at Alex. He knew that he had won that fight, so he shut up and went on stage, all of them acting as if nothing had happened. Now Alex felt bad, but he knew some time later he would get the chance to explain everything.
