Sam's mind flashed back to Mr. Pillar dragging her, feisty as she was, into his room when he needed to relieve his stress. Justin dragged Sam into the apartment in the same fashion. It was in a rundown part of town like he lived. The smell of drugs and smoke filled the air.

"What do you want, Justin!?"

He shoved her down. "I want my brother, and my drugs. Your dad took both of them, and he will return them if he wants you back."

Sam kicked him, and he grabbed her feet, "I don't think so!"

He dragged her to the living area and began beating on her. Sam cowered in a ball of fear. All she wanted was for this to stop. This was her fear at her first home. This was now her fear even at her new home.

Then, once Sam was nice and bruised, Justin grabbed her hair and yanked back so that her face was towards him.

"Say cheese." He snapped a photo of her, then dropped her to work on a ransom email.

Once he finished, Justin returned to sam, who'd just caught her breath. He pulled her up, yelling for her to stand.

"Now that that's taken care of... Let's have some real fun." Justin's eyes glared onto Sam like a lion would watch it's prey. Only Sam was the prey...

"No, something is wrong," cassie said again. She sat in the squadroom, talking to her father. It was just the two of them nearby.

"Cass, maybe she just went for a walk and got lost," Tony tried to come up with some reason for Sam's disappearance.

"No! Something is wrong!" Cassie repeated. She sounded like she would cry, almost like a small child would whine.

"Alright, calm down," Tony reminded her. "I believe you... we just don't have any evidence of-"

He was cut off by a notification on his email. He opened it up and saw the ransom email and immediately lost all color in his face.

Cassie noticed, "I was right, wasn't I?"

When he didn't reply, she yelled, "WASN'T I!?"

Tony didn't answer back, he simply got up and ran to find Ziva. Cassie put her hands to her face, rubbing gently. This was so stressful.

~~~~~
As stressful as it was for Cassie, it was just as painful for Sam. She hurt, to say the least. After a while, her body simply couldn't take the pain anymore and she fell into a deep sleep.
When she awoke from her unconsciousness, pain flooded her body. She began to whine out of a natural response for her pain.
Sam grunted as she sat up from the dirty floor. She was alone, so she took this time to survey her wounds.
A fairly deep gash across her thigh, starting just above her knee and moving diagonally toward the bottom of her shorts, was the only severe wound. Besides that, there were merely bumps and bruises, including a blackened eye, a busted lip, and countless knicks on her arms, legs, feets, hands, and mind.
Sam shivered against the wall, hoping for some rare chance of escape. She could try to scream for help, but in this run down part of town, it wouldn't sound very out of the ordinary. She could hear screams of terror, or possibly pleasure, coming from the door, already.
The doorknob rattled, opened. In came Justin, ready for round two. Sam knew she wouldn't last much longer, though.
"Justin, please," sam pleaded.
Justin mocked her in a high pitch voice, "'justin please!' Don't you know how bad the last years in prison were? No pretty girls to keep me busy there." He knelt down and lifted sam with his hand under her chin so that she was sitting at his height.
Sam whined at the movement. Her head pounded with pain as he squeezed her jaw. "Stop..."
Justin got immensely close to Sam's face. "You have no idea what years of being alone can do to a man..."
He was right. Sam had no idea. But it appeared to her that she was about to find out.
~~~

Back at NCIS, people were frantic and busy. Tony and Ziva were still trying to decide if they should risk paying the ransom. It would ensure Sam's suffering to end, but they may never see her alive.

"The clock's ticking," Tony said. "Probie! You got that email traced? You've been working for hours."

"Almost, tony.. just one more... got it! I got it. It's where he was arrested before. He wouldn't be that stupid would he??"

Tony shook his head. "It's so stupid, it's brilliant... let's go!" Cassie followed them to the elevator.

"Where do you think you're going?" Tony stopped her.

"With you. Duh!"

"Nuh-uh. No way in Heck am I letting you come."

"You're not stopping me," cassie said with defiance.

Ziva put a hand on Tony's shoulder. "Sam doesn't have time for us to argue. Just let her come. She stays in the car."

~~~~~
Sooner than later, Cassie stared out the window, worried, as she watched the squads of agents get in position.
'Hold on, sam,' she thought. 'You will be Rescued!'
