BOWLING DATES
CHAPTER SIX||||||||||||
I scrolled through Twitter on my phone as Lydia aimlessly threw clothes at me to wear for tonight at the bowling place. I ignored her speaking as she continued to throw clothes my way, "Ana!"
I laughed at an extremely funny meme but pouted once my phone wasn't in my hands anymore but instead laying on my floor from Lydia's harsh hands. "Ana!", she yelled again, putting her hands on her hips, "Can you at least try to pay attention?"
I laid down on my bed, curling up in my covers, "I don't really want to..."
Lydia groaned and threw a dress at my face this time. I flung the dress off of my face and glared at my cousin.
She grinned, "Did it hurt?"
"When I fell from heaven? Of course..."
My cousin laughed at my humor before finding another blue dress and throwing it my way, "Try that one."
I rolled my eyes at her and whined, "Why?"
Lydia continued to file through my closet, "Because you have to look perfect for Scott, of course."
Honestly, I was so done with everyone pairing Scott and I up together. Yes, I love Scott but as a best friend and nothing else. I've known him since pre-school so it just wouldn't be right. What if we did date then it doesn't work out so we break up and then it messes up our whole friendship. It might mess up Stiles and Sam's life also. I couldn't date Scott.
I angrily got up and stopped Lydia from going through my closet, "Lydia, seriously? Let me spell it out for you. M E A N D S C O T T W I L L N E V E R D A T E E A C H O T H E R B E C A U S E W E A R E B E S T F R I E N D S!"
Lydia confusedly stared at me as she twiddled with her hair, "Yeah, I understood like twenty percent of that."
I grabbed her shoulders, staring into her eyes, "Scott will never be my boyfriend. Can you understand that?"
Lydia noticed how serious I was being and she sighed while pouting, "Fine... but don't expect us to stop making jokes about you two."
I huffed, "That was actually the whole point. I want you guys to stop making jokes about it."
"But Ana... he's in love with you. Can't you see it in his eyes?"
"I don't want to talk about it anymore, Lyds. Just find me a cute outfit that doesn't involve a dress, please? We are going bowling, you know, not to my quinceañera."
Lydia smiled and clapped her hands, "I know just the thing to have Scott all hand-sy with you tonight. His hormones will be popping out of his head..."
SCOTT
I held the phone up to my ear as Stiles and Sam were on the other end of the line. Honestly, I was panicking the hell out right now. Ana and I are basically going on a date... something that I have been wanting to do since I first saw her in pre-school. What if she doesn't like what I'm wearing? What if my breath stinks... oh my god this is too much...
