CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
   SPIDER-MAN

|||||||||

Lydia Martin has been in Beacon Hills Memorial for three days. She is up and moving, silently showering, eating the food that Mini, Ana, her mother, and her father has been bringing her. She felt emotionless. She was bitten by a psycho that died days ago and it still wasn't healed. Every time she went to sleep, she thought of what happened. When she was showering, it appeared in her head again. She was also having hallucinations, not only seeing Peter, but seeing things as if she was on drugs. Lydia wouldn't tell anyone, she felt like someone was stopping her from that. The only person she was confident in telling was Ana, but she was off playing tonsil hockey with Scott McCall nowadays. She could tell Mini, but she didn't feel comfortable around her own sister yet, if only she knew how Mini was feeling.

Mini was sitting in one of the chairs, across from Lydia's bed, staring at her. She felt like her and Stiles were the only ones that gave a damn about Lydia. Ana and Scott were spending some quality relationship time with one another ever since they confessed feelings and confirmed that they were dating. Sam and Allison were kind of doing the same thing, which just left Stiles and her. She didn't even know what her and Stiles were at this point. They kissed each other on the cheek and held hands but nothing was official. Lydia's mother and father would occasionally come check up on her then leave to go to their jobs. Not to mention that Lydia and Mini had the same father so him seeing Mini here was an ugly picture. All Stiles could do was cower in a corner and groan excitedly about how sexy Mini looked when mad.

Lydia began waking up after her third nap of the day and Mini tapped Stiles. "Go outside so we can have some alone time."

Stiles looked up from his phone, playing some app Sam told him to download a while ago, "Yeah, sure."

He kissed her on the cheek softly and a smile made its way to her face. She watched him walk out of the room and sit in one of the chairs in the hall, next to the three balloons he bought for Lydia. Lydia rubbed her head softly, "Hey."

"Hey."

The room fell silent, the two of them looking everywhere but at each other. Mini sighed, "Another shower? I'll get your clothes–"

"No, you've done enough", Lydia held her hands out weakly, "Surprisingly."

Mini nodded with a small smile, "I know, right?"

Lydia laughed. "Who thought we would be getting along and you'd be helping me wash up and bring me food."

"I only do it because I'm obligated. You're family."

"Yeah, sure. I know you care about me."

"We're not at that stage just yet."

Lydia rolled her eyes and looked outside. She then looked back at Mini, who was staring back at her guiltily. "You can't keep blaming yourself."
