CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
FIFTY SHADES OF AWESOMENESS

||||||||||

The day opened beautifully with the sun making its grand appearance, shining through Ana's window and hurting her sorry eyes. The sun seemed to be happy with itself but Anabelle, on the other hand, did not feel that way at all. Her whole demeanor was defeated and her will to get up was nonexistent. The teens were searching for the strawberry blonde all night but to no avail. Ana and Mini refused to give up but the sorrowful, fainting eyes of Scott, Sam, Stiles, and Allison told them that they were done for the night and that they could try tomorrow. The two girls were persistent but they realized that they would have to move on for the night but much to their dismay. Ana awoke from her deep sleep, feeling the same way she did last night when they left the Preserve: a mix of anger and distress. The teen Alpha sniffled, wiping at her dried tears, but realizing she didn't have to because new tears awaiting would wipe them away themselves. She didn't wanna talk to anyone but she knew Sam would burst into her room sooner or later with a jittery attitude on this new school day. Lydia was his cousin too, but Sam decided to take the positive approach and not dwell on Lydia being missing, but instead to have the attitude that they would eventually find the strawberry blonde one way or another. Then, Ana's mind drifted off to Scott.

Scott was the one person she knew would comfort her to the best of his ability. She knows how much Scott cares and loves for her and he wouldn't miss a beat on making her happy. She couldn't wait to see him. The two teens were finally, and happily, dating one another, and they both couldn't be more excited about it. It was almost like cheesy, puppy dog love. But, love is love at the end of the day, right? Neither of them said they loved one another in that way. But, deep down, they both knew that the other did.

Ana dragged herself out of her bed and went to the bathroom to shower, brush her teeth, do her hair, the usual. She finished her shower, towel wrapped around her body, and begun brushing her teeth. While doing so, Sam walked in, already dressed and waiting for her. "Hurry up, we have an early lacrosse practice today, sadly. You know how Coach gets when one of us is late."

Ana rolled her eyes, not caring about anyone else's feelings besides Lydia's. She wondered if maybe a full moon was coming and her anger was increasing. But, Kali told her that she is an Alpha already, she shouldn't have to worry about things like the full moon like Scott would. "Sam, I could care less. I wanna–"

"Find Lydia", he finished for her, his eyes traveling to hers after finishing brushing his teeth. "I know, Ana. You think I don't want to too?"

"It's almost as if no one cares... we're all walking around, prancing as if Lydia isn't possibly dead. And, if she isn't dead, take into account that that means that she is walking around in this cold weather with no clothes on. She left her clothes and gown at the hospital remember?"
