Sherry's head stirred after a few minutes. Her eyes slowly opening, blinking rapidly to get used to the lighting. Claire got to her side in a flash, kneeling down to her level. "Are you okay? H-how do you feel??"

Sherry slowly started to sit up, taking the time to look around at her surroundings. She studied the room she was in, looking over to find Leon sitting down in a chair and you sitting up on the counter. All eyes were on her, filled with worry and concern. Her last stop was Claire, slowly speaking "It dosen't...dosen't hurt anymore."

Claire let out a sigh of relief, pulling Sherry into her arms for a hug. Sherry flinched for a moment, but it was understandable why. It made you smile to see the Girl's head rest on Claire's shoulder, her hands holding onto her arms. "Listen Sherry, this place will blow up soon. Do you know any way we can escape this place?"

You had to keep your mouth shut, but you wanted to scold Claire for being so straight forward with that question. To your surprise, Sherry started to nod. "There's a train station. We can try there."

You jumped off the counter, grabbing your gun that you had placed next to you. "Excellent, You think you can lead the way Sherry?" She turned her attention to you, and gave you a firm nod. "Alright. Let's go, quickly." Claire stood up, allowing Sherry to get off the bed. Leon stood from his seat, grabbing his gun and making his way towards the door first. He went outside to make sure their was no enemy. "Clear. Let's move."

You followed Sherry out, Claire closing the door behind you. The hallways still had the remains of Umbrella scientists and test subjects, yet Sherry didn't seem scared. You weren't either anymore, you were positive you didn't recognize any of them from your early years. Plus, you got used to the sight of blood and dead bodies.

"Initiating final stage of facility  self destruct protocol. All employees must evacuate to the platform immediately. "

"Let's go. We're done here." Leon spoke, getting his gun ready.

"Agreed. I can't wait to see actual skies again." You felt Sherry's grip on your shoulder sleeve, gently but securely holding onto you. While she was sleeping, you slipped on your ruined blue button up, leaving it open because, it was obvious, their was no buttons. You didn't tell her about your bruises, you didn't want to worry her more than the emergency intercom did.  "Sherry, which way?" Claire looked down at her. Sherry pointed ahead to the elevators. "Alright, I'll take the lead. Let's get the hell out of here."

"Come on Sherry." You told her, she gave you a nod, "Ok." And started walking with you. Claire began to head down the hallway, stepping over the bodies along the path. Sherry made sure to stay extra close, shrinking behind you so she didn't touch the corpses.

Strange, yet familiar hissing was heard behind you and Leon. "Damn plants!!" You started to fire at the two mutated beings, pulling Sherry to get behind you. "I swear Leon," you kept firing at them, aiming at their leafy looking legs to cripple them, "If you EVER bring me these types of roses-!!"

"I wouldn't dare dream of it!!" He responded, shooting for the heads once they had fallen to the floor. Once again, when you least expected them, at least four Lickers had showed up. But these, they were odd. These were larger.

Instead of the human flesh pink, their bodies took to a dark, almost black color with a faint green tint. Their claws had gotten larger, specifically, the middle finger formed a large, yellowed and bloody claw. The brain had gotten a sickly yellow color, their tongues longer and slimy black, like thin, venomous snakes.

"Sherry, run to the elevator. Now!" You commanded, reloading your machine gun quickly. "Ok!" You heard her fast footsteps, hearing the fear in her single word. You started firing at the weak spot, the brains. At first, a few billets would've killed them quick. Instead, these green ones seemed to take it like champs. You focused on the first one getting the closest, firing at the brains until nothing was left but a jellied, sick mess. "Well, that seemed to kill them! Gosh, how have I not thrown up yet?!" You continued to fire at the others, stepping back while they continued to grow closer.
