The day I tried to leave him, I threw the pieces in the trash and sat back down on the bed, eating the food in silence. "Ana,- Catalina." He changed it when I threw him a look, "They are here for you." I frowned, "Your stay in here has been shorted, well it's been a week but rogues have more?" He tried to light up the situation.
I shook my head at him as I stood up, "Who is here?" He looked at me a bit sadly, "A maid of the Alpha." A maid? He sent a maid to come look for me? He is a coward for not wanting to face me.
Well, two can play the game. I nodded my head at him and followed with him through all the secured doors, the sun blinding my now sensible eyes. "Hi Miss Catalina, I'm......"
"You're here to do the job your Alpha couldn't do, no, that your Alpha didn't have the guts to do." I stalked away from her, he could have just let me walk back home on my own. It's not like I don't know the way.
Or maybe he was scared that I'll leave. Maybe I should.
"Where is he?" I asked the maid who caught up with me, "He is running Miss." I made my way into the house, making my way to my room. "Don't tell him I'm here." She nodded her head at me and bowed down her head, leaving me alone.
I looked around the room, my hands brushing up and down my arms. I stepped toward the window and opened the curtains, watching as Sloan ran in human form, his shadow moving though the trees. I yanked close the curtains, not wanting to see him.
I headed toward the bathroom, rubbing my temple at the headache knocking on my door. I filled the tub with water, removing the clothes I had on as I went to put them in the dirty laundry.
I walked out of the room and locked the room door just in case. I don't need Sloan to appear when I'm taking a relaxing bath.
I walked back and closed the tap, filling the tub with scented essence to relax. I stepped inside and leaned down, closing my eyes.
Sloan and I were dancing on the dance floor, the ballroom surrounded with people. My eyes staring into his and then all of a sudden I froze, stepping away from Sloan as I glanced up at the stairs.
I stood besides Sloan, my eyes glancing at my Uncle and his mate, walking down the stairs arm in arm. My chest heaved up and down nervously, my hand squeezing Sloan's as I stared at them.
He moved down gracefully, wolves bowing their heads at him, I gripped Sloan's hand as they walked toward us.
He stood before me, smiling, presenting me to his mate and himself, not even recognising me.
I jolted up, my chest heaved as I touched my heart. That damn vision again. I had a feeling that it was closer than I thought. I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath, leaning back down.
I rested my arms on either side of the tub, trying to relax and not focus on the vision. I inhaled the vanilla essence, it was calming and soothing. The handle of the door shook madly before a furious and repetitive knock clouded my ears. I sighed, so much for calming and soothing.
I ignored it but at the same time I couldn't, he's going to break that door down and I don't have time for that. I pushed my body out and put a bathrobe on, making my way out of the bathroom and toward the door. I inhaled deeply, exhaling as I opened the door. "What do you need Alpha?"
He stepped forward and grabbed my arm, slamming the door as he dragged me toward the bed. "What's wrong with you?!" He tossed me on the bed, the robe hanging on my shoulders, exposing some of my cleavage.
He flipped me over and I turned back around, pushing his chest. "This ain't no drogo and khaleesi shit, I ain't your bitch for you to take me on all four. Your horny, go find a hoe to satisfy your needs." He growled at me, flipping me back over. "You're mine."
