The day I put Sloan's mother in her place, "I'm Anastasia Brodsky." Sloan looked at me in shock as he stood up, running his fingers through his hair as he paced, "How? How?" He pointed down at me, "She died, Anastasia died, I don't understand." I closed my eyes as I held my baby close, leaning my head against his. "She never died, I never died, it was all lies. I stood before my uncle, you saw it with your own eyes, watching how he lied and said all those lies. He was the one who threw me to the wolves, he is the uncle who gave me away to wolves, hoping I'd die, to stay with everything my parents build for us."

He leaned down as he touched my face, "Your uncle will never know that you're alive, not from my mouth." He pulled me into a hug, caressing our son, "Let's get out of here." He pulled me up carefully and I held my son tightly. We drove back to the pack territory and he wanted the pack doctor to check me and the baby out so he took me to the pack doctor. I didn't want to so he took the baby away and ordered me to get a check up even though I didn't want it but I didn't have a choice.

I stayed on the bed with a pout, I didn't know why they were taking so long. I wanted to see my son, "Your blood pressure is very low. I need to let you stay in for a few more check ups, rest, relax." The doctor told me and I nodded my head at him, "And my baby? Is he okay? Can I see him?" I asked the doctor as I pushed my body up and glanced at him.

"No, you can't see him now, your health comes first. He is fine, healthy and big, Sloan is with him now." I nodded my head understandingly and sighed, "Okay, I'll try to rest." I went in agreement to what the doctor said and went to sleep, when I woke up, I saw a back through my blurred eyes and blinked them as I pushed my body up, "Sloan?" I asked him as I touched my stomach and watched as Sloan turned around with our son in his hands.

He looks so sweet sleeping like that. I smiled at him as Sloan made his way toward me and took him over without a care in the world." I pulled him up as I cuddled against him, kissing his chubby cheek. "I sent them to finish the nursery room." I nodded my head at him, "Okay, when can I get out of here?" He chuckled at me as he brushed my hair back, "Soon, maybe today, I'll talk to the pack doctor."

He kissed my forehead and stepped away from me,making his way out of the door. I smiled as I glanced down at my baby sleeping, his long lashes caressing his cheeks. He looks so adorable. I moved away when the door was opened and Sloan's mother walked in, "Don't worry, I didn't came for you, I came for my grandson." I scoffed, shaking my head at her as I licked my lips.

"Your grandson is my son and I sure as hell won't accept you coming in here as if I don't exist, as if you know my past. This territory was a hell, I had to support your son's accusations, from both of them. Your mate indirectly insulted me as if I would harm his daughter, your family. Do you know the feeling of your mate accusing you of betraying him and his pack, of plotting against him? Then his brother who tried to kidnap me twice if I might add. He tried to kill me when I never did anything to him. Its not my fault that they killed his mate, I wasn't there, it's not my fault. Your son can't blame every rogue because one rogue or two rogues killed his mate."

"He can't blame us, he should blame himself because he didn't have the balls nor the guts to protect his mate like he should've done. Your son fought with tooth and nail when rogues tried to attack us, making sure my baby and I were pulled out alive. He did that for us. If your other son couldn't, it's not my fault."

"Then we have your mate, he looked at me as if I was ready to hurt and kidnap Samanta, looking at me darkly and with distaste as if he knew me, as if he knew what I've been through, then you came along, didn't even knew me, accusing me of lying that your son kidnapped me, I've had enough of your family, so do me a favor and stay the hell away from my son's life," I scoffed, "Look how the tables have turned ha? Now I'm the one who wants you to stay the hell away from my son." She looked at me for a few moments and crossed her arms, "I was wrong about you Catalina." That's the only thing she said before she made her way out of the door.

I cuddled against my son, kissing his cheeks and forehead. He whined softly and I brushed his hair, "I saw my mother walking out, what did she say?" Sloan asked as he made his way into the room, "She just wanted to see our son." I replied back as I looked down at my baby, "I talked to the doctor, you can go home. I sent Dinah to grab some clothes for you." I nodded my head at him and smiled shortly, "Okay." Sloan made his way toward me and brushed my hair back, "I admire you, what you did back there was amazing, you did a good job. I'm really proud of you for birthing my son." He kissed my lips and caressed our son's arm, "We have to think of a name." I scooted over as I gave him a place to sit.

He sat down on the bed and brought me closer, my head resting on his shoulder, "Yes we should." I smiled at him, my free hand touching his face,"You..." I glanced up at him, "Confessed your love to me and I didn't, I promised myself that I will do it when I tell you the truth, it didn't go as planned so now I can't because I don't think that this is the right time." He nodded his head understandingly as we shared a kiss, "I think Mr here is making a fit because he's hungry." I scoffed at that with a shook of a head, giving Sloan the baby. I pushed my body up as I pulled out my breast, taking the baby away from him as I placed him in my arms, accommodating him on my breast, "I'm not happy that you're taking my place."Sloan told him but he wasn't fazed by it, he sucked happily on my nipple, eyes closed.

"I'm talking to you, don't ignore me." I rolled my eyes at him as I elbowed his ribs, "Let him be." There was a knock on the door before Dinah peeked her head in, "Come in Dinah." She made her way inside and awed, making her way toward us, "He is so cute." Dinah cooed down at the baby who was long drugged by the effect of the milk, "I brought the clothes you asked for Alpha." Dinah said as she placed the bag on the chair, "Thank you Dinah." I removed the baby from my nipple and gave him to Sloan, fixing my breast back in, "I'll go wash." I touched my stomach as I bit down my bottom lip, placing my feet on the floor as I pushed my body up, "Do you need help?" Sloan asked but Dinah was soon there to help me.

"Don't worry Alpha, I'll help her." She grabbed the bag and helped me toward the bathroom. She helped me into the shower and helped me get dressed after helping me back to the room, "Can we leave? I want to rest on my own bed." He nodded his head understandingly as he stood up from the bed, making my way toward him, I took the baby over. He opened the door for me and led me out of the room. We got out of the infirmary and he helped me into the car.

We drove back home and he got out, helping me out of the car. We headed toward the house and he opened the door for me, "The maids finished the last touches for the baby's room." I was excited to see the room, I couldn't wait to see it, "I want to see the room." He nodded his head and walked with me toward the guestroom, "It's beautiful." I made my way toward the crib and placed the baby down in the crib. I leaned up straight, looking around the room, "It's beautiful, I really like it." I turned to look at Sloan as I sneaked my arms around his neck, leaning forward as I kissed him, "Thank you, now, I need to rest and you need to work on pack matters."

I kissed him again as I patted his shoulders, "Ugh, thanks for reminding me, I have a lot of work to finish." He kissed my lips and stepped back, making his way out of the door. I sighed, turning around as I looked down at my son, smiling as I brushed his hair. This feels like a dream, I can't believe this. I moved away from the crib and got on the bed carefully, breathing in and out as I touched my stomach, still painful from the birth. I rested my head on the pillow and closed my eyes, falling asleep immediately.

I woke up from my sleep, through my blurry eyes I saw a back next to the crib, "Sloan?" I muttered in a daze as I stood up, the person turned around and I gasped, I tried to move but I was weak, my baby cried, I was scared, I wanted so bad to take him away from him but I couldn't. What did he do to me? "He is from my bloodline and so are you, if you're not going with me, I'll have to take him."

"No!" I jolted up, my chest having up and down as I crawled on the bed, hissing as I touched my stomach and stood up, closing my eyes with a sigh of relief as I stared down at my wide eye baby boy, "If something happens to you, I can't never forgive myself." I picked him up and held him close to me, bouncing him as I shushed him, "What happened? I heard screams." I turned around as I looked up at Sloan, "Nothing, just a bad dream." I gave him a short smile as he pulled me into a hug, "I thought of a name." Sloan touched my cheeks as he smiled down at me, "David."
