A chance to make things right I placed the pen down after signing the contract and tossed it to him, "I hope you're happy, now leave and never come back, you can stay with everything, I just want the last memories I have of my parents. You will give me all the photos and albums I have with my parents. That's all I want." He nodded his head as he picked the contract, "I will have someone delivering the pictures for you."
"You better, now leave." I gritted out at him and crossed my arms, Sloan brushing my shoulders softly and smoothly. I sighed deeply when he turned around and left, looking at Sloan who brought me in his arms. "It's over now."
"I hope so." I glanced up at him with a short smile, his hands moving down to interlace our hands, leaning down to kiss my lips. "I need to go to the doctor, I need some vitamins."
"I'll go with you." I shook my head at him, "It's okay, I will be back soon." I pecked his lips and pulled away, "Don't miss me too much." I blew him a kiss and made my way toward the door, getting out of his office.
I made my way toward the front door and got out of the house, the day fresh, sunny and bright. Hmm, I like this day. I greeted some of the pack members who now liked me a little bit more than before, of course I'm still the rogue but they didn't manifest their dislike for me like before.
If they did, they hide it very well. I pushed the doctor's door open and was received by the receptionist, "Hi Meghs, good morning." I greeted brightly, Meghan giving me a smile, "Good and you?"
"Here, feeling tired and weak but making it through as I can." I told her as I leaned on the desk, "Doctor Ruiz told me to come get some vitamins." She nodded her head, looking in her computer, "Yes, he went for a break but he'll be here soon. I think he told me about it, I'll see in his office." I nodded my head as she stood up and left to go to the doctor's office.
I turned around as I watched outside, it was really quiet, "Yes, here they are." I turned around and took the package with the vitamins, "Thank you Meghan." I gave her a smile and tapped on the desk as I pulled away, making my way toward the door but collapsed. "Catalina!"
A light tint of alcohol lingering on my nose made me groan as I blinked my eyes, "Sh, stay down. You were out for a while. We called the Alpha, telling him not to worry. Seems like you're anemic, a birdy told me that you came for your vitamins today. I've been waiting weeks ago." I gave him a guilty smile, "I've been busy with Sabel, I don't even have time for myself."
"Well that's so wrong, let's see if the baby is okay." The doctor turned on the machine and applied gel on the transducer, pulling my dress up, I watched on the screen as my baby appeared, little but still there. "Aww, it makes me think of Sabel, time flies."
"Yes it does." I tilted my head to the side, the heartbeats sounding irregular, "Is something wrong?" I knitted my eyebrows as I glanced at the doctor who stayed quiet and added more gel, moving the transducer around. "Doctor, is my baby okay?"
"Yes, the babies are very healthy." I sighed in relief, nodding my head but then, "What!" I shouted out as I pushed my body up, "Oh God, I think I'll faint." I puckered my bottom lip, my hand touching my heart as tears filled my eyes, "Sorry, I came as soon as I could." Sloan said as he walked in, "What's wrong? Ruiz, what happened? Is the baby okay?"
"I'll leave so you two can talk." Ruiz patted Sloan's shoulder and moved toward the door, getting out. I cried out as Sloan pulled me into a hug, "Catalina what's wrong? Please talk to me. Why are you crying?"
"No." I sniffed heavily as I shook my head, tears sliding down my tears, "No? You're not crying?" He chuckled, brushing away my tears, "No, these are happy tears." He scoffed a smile, "It's the same thing." I pouted as I groaned out in a crying tone, "No it's no." He cupped my face and stared into my eyes, "If you're no crying and just happy, what happened? We already know that you're pregnant."
