Vik, Simon and Josh have been hanging out a lot after videos. But every time, there's an undeniable feeling of tension within the room. The only person who doesn't realise that tension is Vik.... or so they believe. Vik is a lot more aware of the situation than he lets on, after all, he isn't that dense. The root of the tension comes from Simon and Josh themselves - and the rivalry they've established.

How was this rivalry formed you ask? Well, they both have feelings for a particular Asian and they both realised that they both have feelings for said Asian, hence the battle to win his heart starts between them. That's why it's always been the three of them hanging out.

This left Vik in the awkward position to choose. He doesn't have the ability to say no to both for - personal reasons. Otherwise, that would be the best option right now. So Vik is left with two choices - Simon or Josh. Simon is charming, charismatic and full of energy. He's smile is so dazzling that it enchants anyone who has ever laid eyes upon such a sight. However, he can be quite sarcastic and blunt with his opinions but he's so honest that it makes you happy to think that he's so open- despite his snake reputation online. Then there's Josh. Caring, considerate and always there for support. He's a true father figure for Vik who Vik can easily rely on. He may seem so serious at times, but he's also an utter weirdo. But who isn't in the sidemen. Josh can also get too worked up over small issues but it's cute actually. How can anyone decide between these two beautiful gentlemen?

Well, Vik has too, and it's not going to be easy. He spends every night pondering over the choice he is forced to make which always ends in frustration. "Out of all people to be in love with me why those two," Vik mutters to himself before going to sleep in order to escape his duty to choose his lover.

Josh had to leave the house one day to visit Tobi about something to do with the sidemen merch. That just left Simon and Vik alone - since JJ's still trying to find himself even though he's returned. This was a perfect opportunity for Simon and Josh knew it so he reluctantly left and was anxious the entire visit, though he refused to say a word to Tobi about the issue, leaving Tobi confused. Meanwhile, Simon started acting out his master plan to win Vik's heart. He asked Vik if he wanted to take out and what he wanted. Vik eagerly chanted "Pizza, pizza, pizza!" Simon grinned at this response. Everything was going to plan.

Once the pizza arrived and was paid for by Simon, they both agreed to eat together in the lounge. Vik knew what Simon's plan was. 'Let's eat together and get really close so Vik falls for me' it was so abundantly clear. However, Vik wasn't against this - heck if Vik was in Simon's position he would probably be planning something similar. Plus this could be a chance to be able to choose one or the other.

So they sat together and was casually eating pizza, engaging in some small talk, nothing to uncomfortably able. But that was on the surface, deep down they're both extremely nervous. Their heart rate has accelerated unnaturally and they can feel their pulse within their throat. Vik is actually a messy eater, which is unknown to most, so it was only natural for Vik to have some cheese string around his mouth. Simon being the ballsy guy took this opportunity to get close to Vik's adorable face and carefully remove the cheese of his porcelain skin before consuming it. Safe to say that Vik was flustered beyond all measures, to which Simon giggled at. He's so cute. Vik took his time to regain his composure. He was not expecting a surprise attack like that, hence the name 'surprise' attack really.

After they've finished their pizza, Simi and Vik continued their conversation for hours. Suddenly, little Vikky fell asleep and cuddled up to Simon unconsciously. This made Simon anxious, he could literally feel his heart rate going at an abnormally fast rate which is nagging w within his throat. His whole body felt on fire and he was sure that his whole face is red due to vasodilation. How awkward's this situation right now - very? It took Simon a good five minutes before he relaxed, why not enjoy the moment where there's no Josh to stop you. Plus it's not like he can get out of Vik's iron grip, he's surprisingly strong when looking at his stature but if you know Vik, then feeble is definitely not the word to use. Eventually, Simon was sleeping as well, both being on the couch asleep.Of course, both of them forgot that Josh would be arriving soon after. The hurt on his face and the jealousy building up inside is undeniable. But Josh, being the mature and reserved guy he doesn't let his emotions get the better of him, whilst he puts each of them in and tucked them both into bed. He may be rivals with Simon, but that doesn't mean he hates Simon, in fact, they're still best friends, so Josh didn't say anything to Simon at all. Maybe karma paid him back as he was given his opportunity a week later.
