The sun rose but it didn't bring any shine for
him. Dev was still tormented by the truth that came out last night. Sonakshi tried hard to make him comfortable but that shock was not so easy for him to absorb. Dev and Sonakshi both got up and felt awkward. They were surrounded by silence. Dev was tormented by his own behaviour of last night. Sonakshi stood up and was about to enter in the washroom when Dev came in between her way. He was hesitating and fighting his inner turmoil.

"Sonakshi, I need to talk." She stopped and glanced in his eyes which were very disturbed at that moment.

"Dev, are you ok? Please don't take a lot of stress", she says while worried for him especially after last night.

"Sonakshi, I want to apologize for the last night. I was so disturbed..." Dev felt bad about hugging her without her permission, hence he apologized, but Sonakshi did not allow him to complete his sentence. She placed her index finger on his lips and shut his mouth. He felt a shiver in his spine with her advancement.

"Dev you have done nothing wrong. So please calm down." Sonakshi was moving inside but she stopped again. She glanced back once to get his glimpse.

Dev was still in shock. He was fighting with himself every moment. He heard a knock on the door and rushed to open it. His parents were standing there. They were tensed for him. His mother came inside and hugged her baby. He was still a baby for her. She was scared for him.

"Dev you are our son and no one can change this truth. Please Dev, don't hate us", his mother says while crying. She was scared of losing him.

Dev felt hurt seeing his mother cry like that and wiped off her tears. "Mom, please don't cry and who said that I hate you? No son can hate his parents. I am your son and no single piece of paper can change this truth. Mom, I promise that I will never ever ask you about my biological parents. You are everything to me and this is the only truth", he calmed her down as her tears and eyes told him how much she loved him. Yash hugged him and kissed him on his forehead.

"Son, you belong to us and we are your family, never think it the other way around", Yash said assuring him. All three of them hugged, but deep inside they were all worried.

They left him and invited him for breakfast. Outside they made sure that no one talks about last night. Shiv also assured them. When they both came for breakfast, everyone was so calm and cool, as if nothing had ever happened. They wanted to make him comfortable. Shiv tried to do some mockery with him as he casually did. He wanted his brother back happy, at any cost.

Deepak and Vicky didn't like this and now Vicky got a chance to irritate them. When he found him alone, Vicky taunted him which was by chance overheard by Shiv. Before Dev could reply to him, Shiv came in between and cautioned him hardly.

"Don't ever talk to him again, okay? Dev mera bhai tha, mera bhai hai or humesha rahega. So ainda se agar dobara aisi baat ki then I will definitely throw you out of our house.'

Deepak heard his warning and came there. "What happened Shiv? Why are you so angry with your brother?", he says, trying to pretend that he was innocent.

"Tayaji please tell him that Dev is part of our family, so he must behave in the proper way", Shiv fumes.

"Forgive him Shiv. Vicky apologize." He commands his son.

He obeyed and apologized. Vicky got irritated and left the place. Dev was completely shattered. Though he was trying to pretend as if he was normal in front of everyone for the sake of their happiness, but deep inside he was killing himself. No happiness was left in him, which Sonakshi observed very well. He was always lost in his own thoughts and wouldn't talk much. He hardly spoke, all he did was listen and obey, he wasn't the same like before. Sonakshi wanted to make him comfortable and help him as much she could.

"Dev why don't you go outside? Sara din aise pade rehte ho acha lagta hai kya? Tumhe dekh ke na mera baby bhi lazy ho jayega." Sonakshi tried distracting him.

"Achha meri wajhe se baby lazy ho jayega?", he argued. Sonakshi sensed the old Dev coming back. She started teasing him more.

"Aur kya? Use toh yahi lagega uske papa bhi to sare din pade rehte hai ghar pe toh main kyu nahi?", she says pinching him.

"Look, I am not lazy, okay?", Dev again argued.

Their conversation was heard by Shiv and Astha and they came inside. "Dev even though I don't like her much, but she is right this time. Why did you stop going to the office? Don't sit like a lazy person", Astha said to him.

Shiv came and sat next to him. "Look Dev, why do you feel and behave like a stranger in your own home? Nothing has changed. Woh chapter usi din close ho gaya tha, okay? Now come on get ready and don't sit like a dumb person at home." Shiv convinced him and they both leave him.

Dev changed and got ready for the office. He is busy in knotting his tie when Sonakshi came forward and took his tie from him. She helped him in tying the knot. While she was busy in knotting the tie, Dev gazed at her lovingly. The way she was changing towards him delighted Dev unbelievably. He didn't even realize when she was done. Sonakshi poked him and he came back to his senses. Dev started moving outside but stopped and said, "Mrs.Dixit humara baby lazy nahi hoga." He winked with a smile and left.
