On Astha's request, Shiv spoke to his father and while he agreed to send Sonakshi with Dev on business trip. On dinner table Yash brought up the topic and asked Dev to take Sonakshi along with him on the trip. Ragini and Astha too supported Yash but Dev denied it completely.
'nahi dad it's entirely a business trip so Sonakshi waha kya karegi? She would get bored. Aur waise bhi Sonakshi ka treatment chal raha hai so I don't want any negligence with her health. Yahaan mom hain, bhabhi hain, par wahan koi nahin hoga. So she is definitely not coming with me.' Dev spoke straight, without even bothering about anybody's feelings.
Shiv and Astha tried to persuade him but he was determined. Sonakshi turned gloomy, because this trip wasn't supposed to be a small one, Dev was going to leave her alone for entire two months. Ragini tried to make him understand this fact but he rejected his mother's appeal too and left her sulking for him for long two months. Natasha was very happy that Dev has been avoiding her. Astha and Ragini are very well aware what pain she was going through but weren't able to understand why Dev was behaving like this when he loved her immensely. They tried to divert her mind and make her cheerful with the help of Sia, the little soul had by now become an expert in making her happy.
Deepak, on the other hand was seeking a chance to grab the major share of property on his name. But Shiv and Yash weren't so dumb, hence it was getting very difficult for him.
Two months had passed somehow and Dev returned from Germany. When he got back, Sonakshi wasn't at home. He went to washroom to freshened up. In the meanwhile she returned home and was glad to find him back. She felt extremely happy as after a long time he was with her. She was expecting that as much she missed him, he must have missed her too. Dev come out of the washroom, wearing his only jeans, his upper body bare and still drenched. Sonakshi moved towards him and back hugged him, as Dev turned numb to feel her touch, he closed his eyes in anticipation as her soft hands started exploring his bare body. She kissed him and sucked the water beads dripping down his back, as her supple soft lips ignited the fire in his cold body. His breathing got rapid, as his mind warned to stop going with the flow even though his body wished to get drenched in her love. All of a sudden he opened his eyes and flinched off her hands abruptly, quickly grabbing his shirt he wore it before warding off a hurt Sona, 'what's wrong with you Sona? Why do you always seem to be so desperate?'.
Sonakshi's eyes welled up on being accused as desperate, first of all he had left her sulking for whole two months and now when he was back he was avoiding even the slightest physical contact with her, she failed to gauge what all has been going on in his mind, 'ye toh tum batao Dev? What's wrong with you? Why are you avoiding me?', her patience was giving up only raising her doubts about him distancing himself for her purposely.
'mujhe kya hona hai?? Obvious hai, abhi aaya hoon thaka hua hoon, aur ek tum ho ki aate hi........yaar thoda toh patience rakha karo Sonakshi. Matlab jab dekho bass ek hi baat.', he avoided looking into her eyes and tried his best to make her feel guilty, trying his best to reason out.
