The night was very long for Dev. He was very disturbed with the condition of Sonakshi. He slept on couch waiting for the next day. The next day marked its presence and he went to the bathroom to freshen up. Sonakshi was still sleeping. Dev came and woke her up. Sonakshi's head was spinning due to the hangover. She forgot everything....she didn't remember what all had happnend after drinking. Her deep dark eyes were conveying so much. She was glancing in his eyes, searching for the hints of last night. But Dev was as usual very calm and composed. He gave her a lime juice as the doctor had instructed him last night.
'yeh pee lo achha lagega.' Dev said very casually.
'Dev kal raat kya hua tha?' Instead of replying she raised another question.
Dev fumbles but calmed himself quickly before she could catch him. 'kuchh bhi toh nahi.'
'jhoot mat bolo. I agree i dont remember everything but still I know something had happened. Hum toh party me the na toh yahan kab aaye??? Mujhe toh kuch bhi yaad nahi aa raha.' Sonakshi had doubts that might have misbehaved with someone.
Dev held her hand and caressed her hair. 'relax and trust me nothing happened. You were drunk and I brought you here, before any one could notice.' Dev told her very calmly. He didnt wanted her to take any kind of stress in this condition.
Sonakshi got worried for her unborn child. Dev read her eyes and told her to change. 'change kar lo. Maine doctor se appointment le li hai. Dont worry about our baby.' He was trying to release her from her fear and relax her. Sonakshi was gazing at him lovingly. His care his concern for her and the baby affected her immensely. Unknowingly she was falling for him everyday. Everytime her heartbeats rose just by his mere glimpse. She craved for his touch and company. She wanted him around her all the time and because of the baby they did spent some time but after Natasha returning in their live,this their time together decreased and whatever time they did spent, they would only discuss about the baby.
Dev took her to the doctor. She did her check up and told them 'see waise toh sab theek hi hai. Baki kal reports aayengi toh aur clear ho jaega,so lets wait for the reports but don't worry all is well.' their doctor took their worry regarding baby away. After the appointment Dev and Sonakshi were walking towards their car silently when a car stopped near them. Both were rooted on their spot and Natasha come out of the car.
'Tum yahaan?' Dev asked suspiciously.
'hi.' she hugged and kissed him. 'wo main ghar pe call kia tha toh pata chala tum Sonakshi ko leke yaha aaye ho to main bhi tumse milne yahan aa gai.' Natasha didn't loose a chance to snatch Dev from Sonakshi. She wanted to spend as much time as she can with Dev so that he wont pay any attention to Sonakshi.
'kyu koi khas baat thi?' Dev doubted.
'haan reason toh hai. Ek toh tum bina bataye kal raat party se chale gaye. Upar se subah bhi ghar se gayab. Koi nahi maine socha kyu na office saath mein jaaye.' She said over sweetly and Sonakshi felt restlessness the way she gluing to Dev again and again in pretext of old friendship.
'par tum mere office kyu chalogi?' Dev behaved normally less aware that her presence made Sonakshi uncomfortable.
'coz papa ne tumhare dad ke saath ek deal sign ki hai aur uss project pe hum dono ko sath kaam karna hai.' Natasha is very excited which was reflecting in her grin.
'ok tum chalo main Sonakshi ko drop kar ke aata hu.' Dev cared for sonakshi.
'koi zarurat nahi hai. I mean driver hai mere saath toh woh Sonakshi ko drop kar dega. Waise bhi tumhare dad ne abhi office bualaya hai. Meeting ke liye. Sorry Sonakshi I hope you wont mind.' Natasha made sure that Sonakshi didn't go with him.
Dev didn't want to but Natasha did not even allow them to talk properly. Sonakshi too gave her permission to let him go. Natasha dragged Dev with her and left Sonakshi with driver. The driver dropped Sonakshi at Dixit Mansion.
Sonakshi turned gloomy with Natasha's everyday interference in their daily life which made sona guilty of snatching Dev from her specially when she saw him happy with her. She thought that somewhere she was responsible for taking away Dev's love and happiness from him. Because of the new project Natasha's plan was working and moreover the attention she gained from others made Sonakshi believe that she came in between both of them.
Sonakshi thought "now its the right time to end this contract marriage. Dev has done so much for you. Now its your turn. He too deserves happiness and love in his life. Aur woh tu nahi hai,uski khushi sirf aur sirf Natasha main hai.' Sonakshi took a hard decision to wind up their contract marraige.
The day she summoned Dev before their marriage, she had asked for a contract marriage,just to give name to her baby. Her main motive at that time was to ruin Dev and his family,for which she tried alot. But slowly when she got to know about him, her heart start beating for him, she had realized that Dev was a good person and unknowingly had also fallen for him. Sonakshi completely forgot about their contract marriage. even Dev had forgotten about it. Things started going smoothly between them untill Natasha came back and now when Sona felt that Natasha is his happiness,his love..... so she made her mind to go away from his life for his happiness,little did she know that she was his happiness,his love.......the day she leaves him,he will become lifeless. After making up her mind that she had to leave Dev for his sake, Sonakshi again turned rude towards him. She again started to behave like before. Everytime they faced each other, Sonakshi started to fight with him. Natasha took benefit of the situation. Natasha started to spoil the mind of his parents against Sonakshi. Yash already hated her and now Ragini too couldnt defend sona as Sonakshi's changed behaviour rendered her speechless.
