Devakshi's lives were going on a good pace with them finally trying to spend time and mend their relationship....sonakshi was falling for him while he was falling for her deeper if that was possible...but then no all could go in a happy and peaceful way........so one fine day the witch was back in their lives.....which was none other than Natasha......
She came and apologized to Dev for her behavior and he also forgave her, for the sake of their friendship. She broke down in front of him and Dev hugged her to calm her down,at the same time Sonakshi walked in the room and saw them in their hugging state. A strange feeling ran through her. Dev broke off the hug and was convinced that Natasha was regretting. Sonakshi gave Natasha a weak smile as her senses froze and she didnt know how to react and what to say. She just passed a weak smile for Dev's sake. From that day onwards Natasha's interference increased in their lives. She almost came daily to meet him. This was definitely not liked by Sonakshi,afterall which wife will like her hubby meeting with his ex-fiance......
The ease with which Sonakshi started to behave with Dev was now disturbed by Natasha each and every day. Vicky took advantage of this situation very well. 'nice couple na?',He intentionally tormented Sonakshi. She had no answer to his questions and taunts. Seeing her tight lipped,his evil smile crept up and he proceed spoiling her mind,while gaining sadistic pleasure in ruining Dev's life. 'ha......i mean dono bachpan se saath rahe hai. Dono ki engagement bhi ho gai thi. Iss ghar me har koi yahi chahta tha ki Natasha Dev ki wife bannke aaye. Par I dont what you did exactly that he fell for u. Anyways I have to go.' Vicky was quite successful in poisoning sonakshi's brain. He made her realize that she is the one who came in between both of them, she is unwanted in this house as nobody in the family wanted her,rather all hated her. She was again feeling lonely which she felt after losing her parents........
One more month passed and day by day the drift between devakshi had started increase again. Natasha made sure that Dev spent as much time with her. She melted him with her fake tears and Dev also got carried away in her tears being the innocent sentimental fool that he was. The time he usually used to spend with Sonakshi was now consumed by Natasha. She left no chance to torment Sonakshi. These days she is naturally emotional weak due to her pregnancy,her hormones are making her more vulnerable and now his ignorance were taking a troll on her..........during this time she needed him the most,she needed his love,affection and care..........she never accepted but she craved for his attention,she wanted him to pamper her,bear all her tantrums......she had started to fall for him but didn't realize or didn't wanted to acknowledge it.....
Natasha got one more chance. She threw a party for her birthday and invited all The Dixits. Since it was Natasha's birthday party it had to be big event in the tinsel town,a complete high profile page 3 party. Sonakshi didn't feel like going but when Dev insisted her several times she changed her mind and got ready for his sake. She had started changing for him but didn't realized it yet. Both reached the party very late. As Dev entered Natasha rushed to him and hugged him tightly so that no air could pass through them,as if her life depended on it. She even gave a peck on his cheek ,which surely was unbearable for Sonakshi. But she gave no reaction and hid her true expressions masking them cleverly. Natasha encircled his arm and dragged him towards the dance floor, leaving Sonakshi alone in the mob of strangers. Natasha insisted Dev to dance with her, as it will be her b'day gift for her from Dev's side. Initially he hesitated but when she stubbornly held his hand, he gave up as he didnt wanted to upset her on her special day. Music started and all couples were lost in their dance including dev-natasha. Only Sonakshi was left alone having no partner, she was standing alone in a corner like some trash. She felt awkward as if she is the only one who was uninvited and unwanted.
Drinks were being served. Seeing her standing idle, waiter comes and offered her a soft drink, but she was so lost in her insecurities, while her eyes were only staring at Dev who was so lost in the dance. Dev and Natasha were dancing with their bodies touching each other,it looked that they were so much into each other,all this made her blood boil. Her mind was playing tricks with her,adding fuel were her pregnancy hormones which made her weak and miserable on top of that Vicky's one liners were not letting her think rationally. She was so lost in her world that she by mistake picked up the alcohol instead of juice. Waiter cautioned her but she didn't pay any heed to his talks and ordered him to leave. Her eyes were glued to him only and without even thinking she gulp the whole glass in one go. Even the alcohol didn't calm her,she could feel the burning sensation in her throat but it was nothing in comparison to her burning heart. She summoned the waiter and gulped 2 - 3 more glasses. Her eyes turn hazy and vision goes blurred. She was hanging here and there.before any mishap could happen, Dev noticed her condition. Instantly he left Natasha and raced towards Sona. She was not in her senses. Dev patted her cheek but she didnt react as she was under the effect of alcohol. Dev was scared for her and their baby but he didnt want anybody to notice her in that condition. He was trying to talk to her which was waste of time,so he lifted her up in his arms in bridal style and left the party hall as soon as he could. Dev drove back to his mansion. In the entire journey back home,she was continuously blabbering some words, but Dev couldn't understand them. He entered the house and again lifted her. He took her to their room and made her lay on the bed. He removed her sandals to make her feel comfortable and tugged her under the duvet. Dev was about to move but she clenched his hand and he couldn't move. Now she was sitting and Dev also sat besides her. Dev gazed her lovingly.
'you love her.......hain na.',she babbles and her words were not clear but he understood her. Finally in her drunken state she gave away her pent up emotions..........
''Sonakshi,we will talk later.... You are drunk.' He wanted her to take rest at this moment, and wanted to move but she pulled him again towards her.
'I came in between both of you, hain na? You love her only.' her voice is trembling and conveying the pain she felt from the past one month.
'no.... its not like that.....now lay and sleep.' He knew she is not in her senses so no use of making her understand anything.
She leaned on him and cupped his face. 'pakka?' she confirms and he nodded yes. What she did next was totally unexpected for him. Sonakshi leaned over his face and kissed his lips. A sensation ran though their bodies. Their kiss awakened something which was buried deep inside both of them. It became hard for Dev to control himself, he so wanted to kiss her back. He wanted to give in and drown in the moment,he wanted to love her,tell her how much he loved her,how much he cared for her,how much he craved for her love but his mind stopped him. He knew she was not in her senses so proceeding further would be wrong on so many levels. The hatred that she once had towards him cautioned him not to kiss her back. When he didn't respond back, Sonakshi left him and glanced in his eyes, which were full of concern for her....after a few seconds of staring, she fell on him. She lost her remaining consciousness now. Dev made her laid comfortably and tugged her under duvet again.
He was worried for her and the baby and was astonished at her behavior. He instantly called the doc as she had drunk. It may harm the baby. He told the doctor about the entire matter.
"Mr. Dixit dont panic. Right now allow her to sleep and give lime juice when she wakes up in the morning. Afterwards bring her to me. I will check her.", the doctor reassured him.
"Ok. Thanx doctor. He thanked the doctor and cut the call. Dev was still in confusion regarding her behavior "what wrong has happened to her and why is she reacting so weirdly."
