Next Day
Dev again got ready and left the room even before Sona woke up, putting a note beneath her pillow, in which he reminded her of her medicines and diet. Sonakshi woke up and found the note. This note gave her both pain and smile. Smile because it showed his care towards her and pain because she missed his proximity. Consummation was far away, its been long since he last kissed her. Astha's knock broke her thoughts and she allowed her in. She came with juice as its necessary for sona while taking medicine.
'arre bhabhi aap kyu laye?',Sonakshi felt a bit awkward.
'kyun mere lane se juice meetha nahi rahega?' she said in a disappointed way.
'arre nahi bhabhi i didn't meant that way.' Sonakshi quickly corrected as she didnt want any more rift.
'relax i am just teasing you. Subah Dev ne mumma ko bola tha jane se pehle ki medicine ke saath juice lena hai. Mumma busy thi toh main le aayi. Tumne medicines leni hai na.',She reminded her.
'nahi bhabhi mujhe koi medicines nahi leni. Pata nahi Dev ke sar pe kya bhoot swaar hai. 3 mahine ho chuke hai surgery ko par ye medicines pichha hi nahi chod rahi. Bhabhi look at me I am absolutely fine.' Sonakshi was fed up with the course of medicine.
'I know its frustrating but doctor ne recommend kiya hai to kuchh soch ke hi kiya hogi na. Sia ki bhi toh medicines abhi tak chal rahi hai. Mujhe toh dekh ke bhi rona aa jata hai jab usko injection lagta hai.'Astha made her understand the importance of medicines.
'bhabhi pls.' Sonakshi pleaded.
'koi fayda nahi hai Sona. Dev thodi der mein call karega aur phir mumma mujhse puchhegi.' Astha was not in a mood to melt.
'Ek Dev bhi ajeeb hai. Sara pyaar uska dawai khilane mein hi aata hai waise to meri koi parwah hai nahi.' She said frustratingly.
'aise kyu bol rahi ho? Kuchh hua hai kya?' She showed her concerned. 'dekho agar usne kuchh kiya hai toh bata do, hum mumma se complaint kar denge phir woh uski acche se khabar lengi. You know na thankfully humari saas typical mother in law type nahi hai.' she was trying to bring smile on her gloomy face.
Sonakshi smiled weakly. But Dev's ignorance was affecting her without any doubts. 'nahi bhabhi aisa kuchh nahi hai. Dev pe shayad kaam ka pressure kuchh zyada hi hai.' Sonakshi said meekly but her pain was felt by Astha.
Astha didn't pester sonakshi more and changed the topic. She gave her juice and medicines and reminded her to come downstairs for breakfast. Sonakshi went to the washeoom to freshen up and joined the others. Astha was feeding little Sia,so she was in her room. After breakfast Sonakshi went to Astha's room, who was playing with Sia. Sonakshi too joined them and felt very good. Sia's cute antics, giggles and gestures could make anyone fall for her. Ragini too came and joined them. She told both her DIL's about Dev and Shiv's childhood stories. Natasha stayed alone. She was fuming seeing Sonakshi happy with the family.
The day Astha came to know about sona's sacrifice she too left Natasha's hand and made her mind not to pay heed to any of Natasha's rubbish and senseless talks. Natasha tried harder to corrupt ashta's mind against sonakshi but Astha was now able to see the truth and decided not to talk with Natasha as she understood that natasha only wanted to create fights and trouble in the family and instigate her against against Sonakshi. Natasha felt left out and lonely as Vicky too doesn't pay attention to her. Both are married but are not even friends. They are completely strangers for each other.
