Dev and Sonakshi went with him. Raghu's family welcomed both of them and made arrangements for their stay. They also got food and one separate room for them. All others adjusted in one room which made them feel a burden in their house. 'humari wajah se in sabko bhi problem ho rai hai.' Sonakshi confessed sadly. 'I know isliye maine socha hai hum jald se jald ye jagah chhod denge.'
Dev agreed and told her about his decision. Next day he woke up early and got ready to go in search of job. Even after spending 5 days he did not get any job. At last he gave up and decided to do any work. He saw a notice of worker required. Dev asked for work and they gave him a job of mechanic. He was happy that he at least managed to get a job to meet his daily expenses.
He worked whole heartedly even though it was not a 9to6 job in an AC office room. It was the job of a worker which was indeed very tiring. But he did it happily thinking that it was for his love and their baby. He didn't want to stay like a burden on others. His hands were bruised and whole body was drenched in sweat. He was on daily wages so he got money for his hard work. In evening when he returned home, a smile crept on his face.
He told Sonakshi that he got a job. Sonakshi turned suspicious seeing his condition and she enquired about the office. Though Dev tried hard to conceal, but she understood everything quickly. And when she held his hand, the entire picture turned clear in front of her. 'tumne majduri ki? Hai na Dev?', her eyes shed tears seeing his bruised hand.
The one who never took his glass of water by himself, was forced to do such a low class work just for the sake of his love. 'toh kya ho gaya? Koi kaam chota nahi hota. Aur firr jab tak job nahi milegi tab tak kya hum aise hi bhoj bane rahenge kya dusro pe?' Dev hugged her trying to calm her.
'It all happened just because of me. Dev tum apne dad ki bat maan lo or wapis chale jao unke paas. I cant see you in pain.' Sonakshi was very hurt and felt guilty for Dev's condition. Dev cupped her face and wiped off her tears. 'Sona aaj keh diya hai dobra mat kehna.' Saying so he embraced her. The son of that worker came to summon both for a dinner. Dev asked for separate room on rent for themselves. Though they didn't want them to go but he insisted,so they helped him out to get a room on rent in the same colony. He became his guarenter.
Though room was tacky and needed a lot of work but they didn't give up. Moreover the ladies of that worker's family helped Sonakshi in cleaning and setting their belongings. She felt delighted. And this did not end there, they still sent tea and food to them till their kitchen was set up, as they didn't have enough money to buy kitchen accessories. In evening when he came he was so amused seeing the home. Its condition had changed completely.
'wow meri super woman tumne to pura huliya hi badal diya.' Dev grabbed her and said gazing her naughtily. 'maine akele kuchh nahi kiya Kavita aunty ne kiya hai sara kaam to.' Sonakshi told him. 'achha to ye sari mehnat unn logo ne ki hai?' He asked and she nodded. 'toh meri biwi ne kya kiya?' 'pati dev ka intezar.' she too replied in the same way. 'really?' his eyes turn hysterical and he leaned over her face. Sonakshi nodded and gulp hard sensing his actions. 'to ab pati dev ghar aa gaye hai to tume unki seva karni chahiye na. I have a work for you.' he said in a naughty way and moved towards her lips. Sonakshi too lost herself in him,but a knock on their door broke their trance and he left her.
A small kid came with food for both. Sonakshi caressed him and took plates from him. He ran away,but made Dev frustrated. Sonakshi saw him and laughed more. Dev's inner lion unleashed and he locked the door first this time before he grabbed her. This time there was no run away for Sonakshi. He compressed his lips on her and both were lost in a long soul searing kiss.
Where in this bad condition both were happy because they found their true love,on the other hand Vicky and Natasha were fuming badly as their all efforts went in vain, 'bada smart bann rahe the na tum par hua kya? Aaj sat dinn ho gaye par abhi tak tum unka sat nahi tod paye. Tumne toh bada confidently kaha tha na ki Dev aur Sonakshi garibi ki maar nahi jhel payenge or fauran alag ho jayenge par kya hua? Aaj bhi dono sath hai.' Natasha said fuming on her defeat.
'meri samjh me nahi aa raha dono manage kaise kar rae hai. Maine chahaji ko itna bhdka diya tha ki unhone sabko mana kar diya ki koi bhi Dev ko kaam pe na rakhe. Wonder how they manage to get food and other requirements.' Vicky was too confused how their plan will back fire.
'tumhara plan bhi tumhari tarah hai looser.'she poured her frustration on him and made him angry. Vicky grasped his arm and twisted on her back.'just shut up ok. Dont you dare call me a looser. Ye game abhi khatm nahi hua hai samjhi tum.' he glared her and applied pressure to hurt her.
Natasha shoved him away.'Aur tum bhi sunn lo aaj ke baad mujhe chhuna mat. Pehle kuchh karo firr baat karna.' she showered her anger and left the room.
