Sonakshi didn't leave a single chance to fight with Dev. She proved him wrong every time and finally one day his patience too gave up.
"Tumhari problem kya hai? Chahti kya ho?", he asked in anger.
"Freedom. Aazadi chahiye mujhe is nark se. I'm getting tired of this fake relationship.", she yelled at him.
Dev's soul tore apart. He had lost his love. He felt defeated as he failed to ignite the fire of love in her heart which he had for her. He glanced her helplessly, but had no other choice left.
"Fine you want freedom? I will give you your freedom.", Dev said frustratingly. He took the papers of the contract marriage and left the mansion with Sonakshi in tears behind. Dev went straight to his lawyer. His lawyer assured him that within two days both will get freedom from this unwanted bond. Dev was broken badly and wanted to stay alone, far away from this world. So for the next two days he cut himself off from the world and stayed at his farmhouse with the memories of Sonakshi. Both turned gloomy. Their unsaid love was burning both, but their silence was killing that love. Both had only pain in their hearts and tears in their eyes. After two days their divorce was approved by the court and his lawyer gave him the approval papers. Dev's heart broke. His heart bled but he accepted his fate and went to the Dixit mansion to give her one last gift. With a heavy heart he gave the file to her. "Tum aazadi chahti thi na. Ye lo aaj se tum azaad ho.", he whimpered in pain and eyes poured with tears, but he hid it from Sonakshi.
Her hands were also trembling while holding the papers. It wasn't just a paper, but an approval of parting her from her love. "Thank you so much.", she said meekly and turned her back to him as her eyes did not listen to her instructions and poured with tears. Sonakshi packed her all belongings and started moving. One last time she slanted her neck back to glance at the room and moved on. Dev clenched his eyes shut as he couldn't see her going away. His heart scolded him and instructed him to stop her but he didn't have the courage to get his emotions mocked by her all the time, so he sealed his mouth shut. Ragini saw her going and she tried to stop her.
"Please mujhe mat rokiye. Bas aapse itna kehna hai ki aaj tak jitni bhi badtameezi maine aapse ki hai uske liye pls mujhe maaf kar deejiyega." Sonakshi apologized for her bad mouthing to her.
Ragini stopped her as it wasn't not easy for her to accept it, because she knew Sonakshi is the only reason for Dev's happiness. "Tum kahi nahi ja rahi ho, ok?", she said with dominance.
"Jaane deejiye use chachiji. Woh kabhi apke Dev ki wife thi hi nahi. Ye dekhiye contract marriage ke papers jinke according inki marriage over ho chuki hai." Vicky came and told about the hidden truth to all the family members. He revealed everything so that Yash would hate Sonakshi more.
"I was right about this girl. Yeh iss ghar ke or Dev ke layak hai hi nahi. Achha hi hua jo ye sab samne aa gaya. Ab yeh yaha nahi rahegi",Yash said resentfully.
