"Nah, are you kidding me? I'm so done with her." Jonas scoffs.

It had been three weeks since Eva and Jonas split up and it was for the best.
Lately all the drama had cooled down and it was so refreshing.

"Jonas, don't be mad.. but I'm actually glad you guys broke up, it was never ending drama for a month."

"I'm not offended, you're right" he laughs back.

It felt nice to have my best friend back for once.

We kept walking until we had to part ways. "Bye Jonas, love youuu" I smirk at him. "Whatever, man" he shakes his head and laughs back at me.

I walk into the ice cream parlor and as soon as I take my first step inside, I actually wanted to die. I hated this job so much and questioned why I even wanted to work here in the first place.

I hop across the counter and head towards the back to fetch my apron. All the strawberry flavored ice cream was gone and It reminded me of Eva and I frowned. I hadn't talked to her in weeks and it killed me that she was ignoring all of my phone calls and messages. I missed her.

"Uhh Sonja, all the strawberry ice cream is gone, can you check if there's any left?"
I say loudly enough so she could hear me.

She didn't respond so I go into the storage room, preparing to feast my eyes. Sonja and Peter had to be the worst couple ever. I cover my eyes and walk inside.

"Soooonnnnjaaa" I say loudly until she replies.

"Isak!!! Get out!!!"

"How about you do your job and stop making out with Peter?" I smile and laugh at her. She couldn't hold anything against me ever since I found out about her little secret with Peter.

"I just wanted to ask you if we had any strawberry ice cream left?" I say to her with my eyes still covered.

I could hear her shuffle around and try to put her shirt on. I actually wanted to throw up. I turn myself back around, searching for the door. I ran straight into a metal shelf and hit my head, making a loud BANG! sound. I groan in pain as I raise my hand to my head. Immediately after, I could hear a guy burst out laughing, but it wasn't Peter. This guy must be perfect for Sonja, rude and annoying.

I wanted to make a really snarky comment, but I hadn't put my two weeks in for my job yet, and this would kill me. It was such a good comeback and keeping it inside me made me even more angry.

"Isak, just get out!!"

I laugh through the pain and am actually frantically trying to find the knob. I peek through my fingers and throw open the door. Sonja is definitely the #1 reason that I'm quitting this job.

After shutting it, I walk back up to the front and see someone walk inside.
I glance over and see the girl I needed most in my life right now.

"Eva!" I voice just loud enough for the both of us to hear. I give her a big grin and climb over the countertop to meet her.

"Hey" she lets out quietly. She seemed happy since the breakup and I was glad. She hadn't talked to me in so long that there wasn't really anything to say.

"You got a haircut! It looks really good dude!"

She ran her fingers through my hair before messing it up a little bit.

"Thanks, man!" I say back.

We both let out an awkward giggle before I pull her into a hug. I rock her back and forth and she steps on my toes. "Ah!! Stop, you're hurting my pinky toe!" I joke to her. I look over her shoulder to see some tall guy  leaving the shop. Tall, blonde, blue eyes... I caught myself gazing up at him a couple times, but i looked away once I could sense his eyes set on me.
