Isak

I open my eyes and within an instant, run down the hall and fling open the door to my bathroom. I spent around thirty minutes on the bathroom floor hunched over the toilet bowl. My head was pounding and I felt miserable.

"Oh, Isak..." I hear Noora mumble.

She walks in and places a hand on my shoulder. She was in her pajamas and all of the lights were out. I cough before motioning to the sink and my throat.

Noora walks to the kitchen and retrieves a glass of water for me. Why am I so sick from the few drinks I had at Sonja's party tonight?

I look up at Noora before clearing my throat. My voice was raspy and I sounded like I had just smoked thirty packs.

"I don't remember taking Eva back here, do you know if she's alright and everything?"

"Isak, what is the last thing you remember?" Noora replies back in concern.

"Well, after the party, Eva and I went over to our friend Even's apartment... And the last thing I really remember was asking him to turn the heat up because it was cold."

Noora sighs before putting her hands through my hair. I only ever let Noora and Eva play with my hair.

I close the lid to the toilet and rest my head on top of it. I already felt disgusting anyways.

"Noora, please tell me that it's still the same day."

She hesitates and I could immediately tell that It wasn't.

"Please explain everything" I whine to her.

Moments later, I'm settled on the couch and taking pills to ease the pain in my head. Noora pulls a light blanket on top of me and situates the pillow behind my head.

"Well, to start off, It's four in the morning on Monday."

I was so confused and didn't even know where to begin. The party was Saturday night and it was currently early Monday morning. I had been knocked out for a whole entire day.

"Noora, I never get this drunk, I only had a few drinks and nothing more."

Noora nods as if she agrees and understands me. "There was something inside the drinks, this is happening to a ton of others."

I groan and look back at her. She doesn't know where to start off again  until I ask about Eva for the second time. Apparently Eva got to the drinks before they were tampered with and she was perfectly fine.

After I found out she was okay, my thoughts shifted over to Even. Shoot, I almost forgot. He was so nice for letting the both of us stay over at his place. I remember being happy about being inside his apartment. The last thing I could recall at the top of my head was feeling really cold. I asked him to turn up the heat and then went back to his room.

And then I wake up to this. Completely sick and unhappy. I hoped he was doing alright.

"Who-who brought me home?"

"Eva and that Even guy. You were totally passed out and he had to carry you bridal style all the way here."

She catches herself laughing and immediately stops.
