Rilluma's P.O.V
Even after breakfast my head hurt. I couldn't understand these headaches and I really didn't want to. Illumi gave me a bottle of red pills that are supposed to help with migraines and headaches called Zatar. (not a real med) Zatar worked great and it kept my headaches down which was really handy. Life went normally for about a week until Killua came to me with a plan.
I was sitting on a tree branch with a squirrel on my shoulder and another in front of me. I was feeding them crumbs of a granola bar when Killua appeared. He knocked on the tree truck sending vibration up the wood. When I looked down Killua seemed to have something on his mind.
"What's up bro?" I asked and feeding the squirrel on my shoulder.
"Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah." I said moving the squirrel off me so I can jump down. It scrambled off with the other one farther up the tree and I landed on the ground with a thud. I was about to give him a hug but he looked troubled so I pulled away. What was bothering him?
"Do you . . . you know . . . like this family?" It was an odd question to ask and it really caught me off guard. It made me think a little but and I was trying to find a true answer. I didn't want to lie to my brother, but I didn't want to go against my family to much though.
"Do I love them . . . Yes. Do I think they are not the best people in the world . . . that is another yes." I stated he nodded but he acted like he didn't want that answer. "Why?"
"I'm leaving Rilluma, and I was hoping you would come with me."
"Okay. Where are we going? Who's going to be supervising? When will be be back? What will we be doing?" I went through my usual agenda before I would go anywhere. If these questions had answers that I didn't like then I won't be going. Despite my training of being an assassin, I still care about my own safety. People think I'm weird like that, but I am still a kid.
"You don't get it Rilluma. I'm leaving for good." I finally understood a little.
"You're going to run away?"
"Yeah." He said saddly. His hands went into fists as he looked down to the floor.
"When do you think running away from a family of elite assassins is a good idea? They drag you back and torture you to the point that you can't walk anymore." I warned.
"I know. I'm going to risk it, but that's why I want you with me."
"Okay then. When do we leave?" I asked. I was not a huge fan of the whole running away thing, but there was no way I was going to let Killua do this by himself. How he is asking me to do this is prove enough that he is scared even with his attitude.
"We leave at dawn. Get enough sleep Rilluma. Grab anything you need to bring along and don't let anyone find out. It's going to be like escaping from hell." he explained.
"Even worse actually."

I couldn't sleep at all. All I could do was toss and turn all night. The pain of my headaches were as bad as ever at the moment. I kept popping pills just barely not going over the overdose line. It's such a pain to have to keep these pills in my system.
Early in the morning I got up and filled a tan backpack with everything I need. I packed money, clothes, water bottles, throwing knives, my bottle of pills, toothbrush, shampoo, hairbrush, etc. I changed my clothes to a skintight black leather jacket and a white tank top. I also wore some combat boots and some skinny jeans. My hair was neatly brushed and evenly tied into two pigtails with a black headband and ribbon.
"Time to go I guess." I said swinging the bag over my shoulder until I caught glimpse of a pedant. My pendant actually was special to me. I don't where is much anymore since I've been losing control, but it used to calm me. There a was a silver chain that hung around my neck with a little glass bottle with a cork attached. Inside the glass bottle was a little pink flower inside of a water substance. The water kept it alive forever and the flower's scent was unusually strong. Whenever I smelled that scent I would calm. I thought it would come in handy so I clipped it around my neck and walked out of the room.
*Time Skip*
*Noon*Let's be honest, we were bad about escaping. We only managed to get away with Killua stabbing mom and Milluki being attacked by me. It could have gone a lot better, but also a lot worse. We could have been brought back, but we got away. The only problem was. . . . what now?
"What do you want to do." I asked he shrugged. I thought about it for a moment and then I got an idea. "Illumi was saying something about wanting to take this test. What was it? He wanted to shoot things with a gun for food or at least that's what the name was like. You know what I'm talkin about right?"
"A hunter's license?"
"Yeah that's it. We could take the test for fun. It's supposed to be a very hard test so I was wondering if we should take it to prove how strong we really are." Killua thought over my idea and seemed to not find anything wrong with it. I didn't find a fault.
"I mean. We have nothing better to do." Killua insisted.
"True."
"So let's go take that hunter's exam."
"Right." I was excited to see how this was going to play out. This exam was going to be so fun. I just hope nothing get's into our way. That would make things a lot harder.
