Rilluma's P.O.V
We were all surprised over his tactics, but one by one people joined Gon with the wall. Me on the other hand, couldn't wrap my mind around it all. When would someone in their right mind go through all of this manual labor instead of just taking a couple people out. They should have just taken out Leorio and Tonpa. They are the weakest. They won't survive the oncoming rounds anyway. While everyone else took turns destroying the wall, I stood in the background watching them.
There's no words to describe exactly what I was feeling. There was anger in my heart for some reason. It was like the feeling in my head wasn't mine to feel. I had a feeling that there was a reason why I was thinking the way that I should. Very perseptive Rilluma. Illumi said in my head. You're confused aren't you. You don't understand why they try so hard.
This was a strange way for Illumi to use his powers. Instead of giving me a command he just sat there talking to me. What did he want from me? I can't just leave Killua here with these people, but he had a point. I didn't understand everyone here. I didn't understand why they do some of the things they do, but it doesn't matter. I know Killua and he is the reason I'm here. Killua is a poison. He's deceiving you. Can't you see that?
I see the truth, and Illumi can't take it away from me. I trust my brother. Even if he makes his mistakes. Have it your way, but soon you will think otherwise. Killua will come with us, and your teeth will be on the throats of your new friends. Illumi's words gave me the chills. He seems to think he can make me do what ever he wants, but I will not be a pawn in his master plan.
"Rilluma." Gon said waving his hands in front of my face. I looked up to him shaking my head, but I was still thinking about what Illumi said. Seeing Gon just made me only imagine the worse. I was standing on top of Gon, my teeth burried deep into his neck. The taste of his blood trickling down my throat. "Are you okay? You look a little pale."
"I'm fine. What's up?" I asked.
"Are you going to help with the wall." He was going to hand me an axe, but I refused.
"I don't like doing things that way. I'll do it my way." I walked up to the wall and shifted my form. My nose stretched out into a muzzle, my ears pulled out and twisted on themselves. My legs and arms became the same length and turned into some long fuzzy stalks. Horn sprouted from my skull and swisted around my new years. Not my favorite form, but it's perfect for the job. "Baaa."
I was now in the form of a ram. I trotted over over towards the wall, that was already broken down for the most part. I got up against the adjacent wall in order to get a running start. Then with the call do the goat I ran over hitting my head against the cement. It crumbled down in front of me before I ran out the other side.
"We don't have time. There's no way we'll make it." Tonpa argued.
"But we have Rilluma. She can turn into an animal and carry us down." Leorio growled. I shook my head turning into my human form.
"I'm exhausted. I don't think I have the strength to do something that big. Besides, we don't have room for me in this cramped hallway. We need something else." I told him. Everyone was frantic to find a plan, but I knew that nothing could get in the way of a certain someone.
"I GOT IT!" Gon yelled picking up a large wooden board from the floor. "Killua. Let me see your skateboard." Gon took the skateboard from Killua and placed the wood on it. "Pile on in. We've got a dead line." I narrowed my eyes at him. It was definantly a plan, but I don't think it was a very good one. Regardless, we all made our way onto the contraption and down to the next phase.

10. The countdown had started but I had a feeling we were nearing the exit. I could feel the wind hitting my little mouse whiskers. The opening for the next phase was getting close. 9. We took a sharp turn to avoid some debris on the ground, but we were still well on our way. 8. Leorio was complaining about failing the test. I wanted to prove him wrong. 7. Killua's heartbeat was beating against my body. I could feel his living essance rumble with every breath. 6.
Still think you're going to make it. Illumi's voice was in my head, but I refused to listen to him. 5. We're half way there. Our future is on the line. 4. The countdown was ringing in my head. Implanting thoughts that I didn't want to think. 3. I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. We were getting very close. 2. We were right outside of the door. Now. Just moments away from winning, and moments away from losing. 1. We all skidded to a stop after arriving through the door. 0. We made it by the hair n our necks.
"That was close." Kurapika said. I nodded.
"I want to get some sleep." I said to all of them. Killua nodded.
"We all deserve it." Leorio smiled.
"You didn't even do anything old man." Killia told him. I smiled at them all. Fighting playfully like a group of little children. I understand why Killua likes these people, but I could still see what Illumi was saying. He was still in my head. Don't forget what I told you. Illumi whispered in my mind. My smile faded as I saw myself covered in blood, eating the flesh of all of their bones. It was a future that I hope I would never see.
---------------
I believe we're getting closer to the main conflict. After all, this is already chapter 25. It's been a long path but hopefully we can get this book to a good spot to stop. Hope you liked the chapter. See you all next time.
