19: Johness the Disecter

Rilluma's P.O.V

"Rilluma. . . Rilluma. It's almost our turn." Killua said shaking my shoulders lightly. My eyes opened lighyly and I let out a yaen. I quickly stood up and walked over to the rest of the group. Leorio came back sulking over the loss of his match, and apparently it was a bad one.

"Okay. Who's next?" Leorio asked. Killua was the first to answer. There was no sign of Illumi in my head, which is good. Illumi clouds my judgement when he's talking to me. I want this kill to be on my part, I want to feast apon his living body. The call of blood is far to strong to deny.

"That would be us. I was getting so bored of waiting that I almost fell asleep." Killua said. I stretched the sleep away so I could be fully awake apon entering the battlefield. 

"I actually fell asleep. I think I got you beat." I told him. He nodedded and then noticed Leorio looking stupid, well, more then usual. His mouth was dropped open and he was pointing his finger at the two of us. Kurapika was confused and so was Gon, but they stayed quiet. Tonpa has been greedly chuckling. He must have a plan.

"What's wrong Leorio?" Gon asked.

"If I knew we had to rely on you you I would have tried harder!" I tilted my head and everyone began to laugh, but Killua and I were not amused.

"Oh and what makes yo think we can't win." I asked. He crossed his arms trying to look all big and bad. He failed majorly. He still looked as dumb as he was when I first met him, or every minute after.

"You might be a cat, but you are still a kitten." He said. I tilted my head confused and looked at Gon.

"I am human. You know know that right?" I asked to no one in particular. Leorio looked shocked, and Kurapika didn't really care. Gon gave a big smile.

"Really? You stay in cat form all the time I started thinking maybe you were a cat." Leorio pointed out. I hadn't noticed just how much I've been in animal form. When I was back at the house I would mostly stay in human form. Maybe it has something to do with Illumi. Having him breathing down my neck alk the time has me on edge.

"That's not exactly how that works." Killua answered for me. I rolled my eyes and walked up to the entry point as they strated to announce the next opponet. I listend  carefully so I could decide what form to be in when taking him on. Killua looked like he was just waiting to go, but I just wanted to kill.

Basically this guy is named Johness the Disector. With the ability to rip his victims apart without a use of a tool tells me long range would be smarter if he really is as strong as Leorio is making him out to be. A ceature able to fly might be an order.

"Nobody should be asked to fight him. We can just retake the test next year."

"No way. He's a mass murderer, I get to kill without the guilt." I said taking a step up.

"I'm with Rilluma. I cant wait, to play this game." Killua said. Gon smiled suddenly siding with us. He was confidebt that we could win. I knew we could, if we tried hard enough. Assassins usually dont preform their best. We like easy kills that take a single hit. Johness, Killua, and I all approached the battlefield.

"So what kind of fight is it going to be?" Killua asked.

"Fight? There is no fight, this is. One sided massacre. All you have to di is scream while I tear into your flesh." Johness is a cocky fighter, that makes it easy for me to eat him. Besides, eating someone who thought they were better then me.

"So whoever dies first loses. That work for you Rill?" He asked me. I nodded.

"I want to go first Killua." It was more of a  order then a statement. Killua shrugged with his hands in his pockets. He took a step back eyeing me with a side glare. I rolled my eyes and looked right at Johness. No transformations today. Fight him with your own power first.

Illumi not only is running my actions, but he is ruining my fights to. What is this? Don't use your abilities. It's the exact same as Kill using his dagger nails, so why does Illuni not want me to use my animal transformations. Whatever, it's not like I can go against his orders anyway. Johness took a steo forward and I ran right for him, forgetting about his power.

I dodged his shots, but he wasn't giving up. Johness continued to attack. That was when Illumi spoke to me again. Rilluma. Killua is not someone you must trust at this point. You must behave for the rest of the phase in order for you to become your own person. Kill is you friend, I get that, but he is not well.

Not the best time to talk to me Illumi. Gon and all of those friends must die. If Kill falls into your path, then he too will die. I choked up with a gasp. My one slip gave Johness the chance to take me, and he did. His hand grabbed my arm a ripped a chunk from my forearm.

Blood leaked down my arm and I jumped back grabbing a hold of it with my own hand. The chunk was about an inch and a half deep and about three inches long. He gave a crazed smile to the piece of flesh in his hand.

"Damn it Illumi. Look what you did." I mumbled. Johness took another step forward, but was stopped as Killua ran right oassed him. Killua had something that Johness wanted, his human heart. I growled. Killua got to to take the final blow. I stood and shook my head taking the form of a white wolf. I disobeyed Illumi's order.

Before Johness got to the end of the line, I lunged grabbing him by the neck. Warm matalic blood splattered into my mouth making my eyes dilate in pleasure. Johness's  breath hitxhed making a jump shoot threw my body. My mouth released only to chomp down again, and again, and again. I was swallowing bite after bite of his flesh.

Killua grabbed my by the scruff and threw me back. I skidded to a stop and bared my teeth. The fur on the back of my neck stood on end. It made me mad that he stopped me from eating him. Killua was prepared to take me down, and as Illumi said, If Kill falls into my path then he too shall die.
