Rilluma's P.O.V

"Something you would like to tell me Rill?" He asked. I silently cursed and then straitened trying to regain my posture. I can't think at all. I can't do it. Everything that I tried to think of saying is gone from my mind. I need to say something so I don't

"I don't know what your talking about." I mentally slapped myself. That was a weak response. UGH! Why can't I come up with something to say? Why can't I just put on a face like Killua? Why can't I just brush it off? Why do I keep asking questions?

"Rilluma. Don't lie to me." he said now standing up.

"What do you mean?" I asked looking to the side.

"I've seen it since we were kids. I have a talent for lying and looking like I'm telling the truth. You do not have that ability. When you lie, you tell stupid fibs. That's why you just stay silent." I looked down. He was right in front of me now. He looked down to me. "So what happened and why are you acting like this."

"I don't know. It's hard to explain. I just can't tell you." I tried to make his stop questioning me, but it didn't work. He still looked to me like he couldn't trust me anymore. I get what he means. I wouldn't trust myself either.

"Fine. Don't tell me. It doesn't matter for now. You're already on punishment." Oh yeah. I forgot about the chairman's punishment.  The one where I had to be one with Killua in the next challenge. It helps that we're twins, but it doesn't help that we are arguing at the moment.

~.~

We stood on top of the tower looking over the edge. Before taking in a deep breath. I wanted to just get out of here since Killua and I was arguing, but that was not an option. Besides, this was the hunter exam. You don't get to just pick and choose what parts you do and what parts you don't do.

"Could you fly us down Rilluma?" Gon asked me looking over the edge of the tall tower. It was an interesting thought, but I'm supposed to only do what Killua could do, and he can't fly. I didn't want to tell Gon what my punishment was, so I just had to think about it logically.

"No." I shook my head and pointed to the sky at a big bird with teeth. "Those things would stop us. I'm going to guess they are trained for that very reason. See how they keep circling the buildings and watching everyone. It's a sign that they know someone is going to die."

"Oh. Well I guess we're just going to have to find a way into the building some other way." I nodded and shifted into my cat form jumping up on Killua's shoulder. Killua folded his arms and I just shook my head.

"Rilluma. How about you help Gon out."

"What you mean?" I looked over to Gon who was on the ground smelling. It looked like he was trying to pick up a scent, but I was still confused. What did Killua want me to do about it? Gon can do his own stupid thing.

"Look at him, he's smelling the ground like some kind of dog, and since your technically a cat."

"Okay I get your point, but do I have to?"

"Rilluma. I think it would be good for your guy's relationship." I snarled at that baring my long teeth. I get it. Killua was actually just trying to get me to have a conversation with Gon. I didn't want to but I knew I would cave in eventually. "Knock it off Rilluma. I'm trusting you you know."

"Fine." I jumped off Killua's shoulders and landed down on the ground. I trudged off but only after I looked back to give a final glare at Killua. Then I walked over to Gon before asking. "What are you doing?"

"There must be some hint of the scents inside through some of the doors. I'm trying to find any switches of scents." he told me before standing up and giving a confused look. "But I can't pick very much up. It would take all day for me to track down enough doors for everyone."

"You just need to find one for yourself." I told him confused.

"That wouldn't be very nice to just leave everyone stranded up here." he said.

"Then they should have been more prepared to play the game. It's as simple as that." I replied.

"Then why are you over here?" he asked.

"Killua told me to help you." I said shrugging my cat shoulders.

"Great. You could help me track all of this down. You're probably a better tracker than me anyway." I gave a small blush before sticking my nose to the ground and trying out Gon's idea. It was faint, but I could tell where the air shifted and where the scents were the strongest. Eventually I found a heavily scented area.

"Gon. Come check this out." I said. Gon looked down and knocked on the ground feeling the stone. We found on for everyone. One extra since Killua and I take the same door, but Gon didn't need to know all of that.

"Hey guys." Gon called. Blood filled my nose as I looked to a source. In the sky a man was being carried off by the birds. I'm so glad I didn't choose the fly, there blood smells gross. Like they were filled with dirty human blood. Gross.

"I guess this is where we split." Kurapika said. I didn't listen to a lot of the send off speech, besides I knew we would meet again. The scents seeping through all of those doors smelled the exact same. If they were leading to different rooms then they would have at least a small different between them.

"See you guys in the next challenge then." I said entering the conversation before the doors fell below us. Now we were all falling into a dark room. I could see around me but everyone couldn't. Thank you cat eyes.
