Rilluma's P.O.V
Gon ran onto the stage in glee. I guess he has a little sense of combat too. After all, he seems really excited to fight this guys. It might not be the same kind of fight that Killua and I enjoy, but at least he's not as different then I thought.
"If it's okay with you I don't think I really want a fighting match." a tall skinny guy said. Gon smiled his usual everyday happy smile nodding. We all watched as they explained the details of the game. There are two candles, big and small. Which one will burn out faster. Kurapika and Leorio suggested one could be a trick. Killua looked to me. I shook my head. The truth is, there are more candles then is shown. The choice is pointless.
"They are setting him up for failure." I told him. Kurapika stared at me with confusion.
"What do you mean by that?" he asked.
"The choice is pointless. No matter what he's going to pick a trick candle." They didn't bother to ask me how I knew, but Killua knew I was right. If I say something like this then he knows I'm telling the truth. I could smell the gunpowder in the candles. Currently the long one has gunpowder, but there is still more candles in his back pocket.
"I pick the long one." Gon said with a smile. The skinny man through the candle over and they both began to light the candles. Within a couple of seconds the long candle's flame exploded causing the flame to burn bright. The wax quickly began to melt until it was no longer possible for Gon to hold it.
"My candle is still burning really bright. So it won't go out with a little wind." Gon sai before sprinting as a quick pace to the enemy. The skinny man was surprised, but Gon still managed to blow out his candle right before the long candle was reduced to a wax puddle. My eyes widened in surprise and everyone else chuckled. Even Killua smiled.
"Wait. How it that possible? These are criminals, how did Gon with that?" I asked pawing the base of Killua's neck. Kurapika touched my head earning a quick snarl. He pulled away at a normal pace, but still smiled at me.
"Gon always finds a way to surprise us." Kurapika stated. Killua nodded but I just shook my head. It doesn't make sense. They are getting time off their prison sentences and he won by blowing out a tiny candle.
"Dumb luck." Killua stated smiling at me. I scoffed.
"You've got that right." This stage of the game is a joke. There was no blood, no mental test, no anything. He just won by being quick on his feet and not giving up. It's so boring now that I'm itching for our turn to fight. I want to have a death match, it would be so much fun feasting on our opponent. Especially since I haven't eaten my prey in a long time.
"See. I told you I would win." Gon said with a big bright smile.
"That wasn't a win. That was a joke." I growled jumping off Killua shoulder and receading back into the hallway. Gon can win without fighting and just blowing out a candle, but I'm forced by Illumi to do things I don't want to. I almost killed Kurapika and I'm going to be forced to kill others in time. Everyone's laughing now, just wait until my teeth are around their necks.
"What's wrong with her?" Leorio asked Killua. Everyone shrugged but Killua just stared at me as I walked away.
"Let's just get started on the next match. Who's going next?" Gon asked. They decided Kurapika was next, but I didn't care. I hated being locked up like a wild animal. I can't do anything by myself right now. I can't just kill them, and I can't even ask as my own person. The chairman has me by the neck. Gon get's to act like a child and I can't even play.
Kurapika walked up to the stage in order to fight his opponent. The guy looked ugly, and he smelled like a pig. His body odor was strong and gross, but under that is the blood of someone who is tasty. He doesn't look human after all. Human blood is tainted and bitter, pig blood is fatty and savory. The ugly man punched the ground breaking the ground with his metal plated fists. Kurapika wasn't scared.
When Kurapika spotted a spider with twelve legs. I smiled knowing that mark meant someone who was strong. The twelve legged spider symbolized someone of the phantom troupe. This man was not a member, that was obvious. I've met the members of the phantom troupe, and they were allies of mine at some point. I know a twelve legged spider when I see one, and this is but a mere fly.
Kurapika's smile faltered as the ugly man started to rant, earning him a punch in the face. I licked my lips hearing the crack in his jawbone. The sound of his bones crack was music to my ears. This man deserved it too. Kurapika's blood lust was frightening, but it made me itch for the chance to fight him. I want to have that determination when we fight each other. Kurapika made some threats and then returned to the group.
"Are you okay? I mean is it okay to be around you?" Leorio asked. I rolled my eyes. His blood lust was back down, but an intensifying smell of sadness replaced it. He walked back and sat in front of me leaning against the wall. They were questioning him, and it made me happy that he was finally being interagated for once.
"That's another win for us." Leorio cheered. The bald man on the other side shook his head. I could smell the blood beating as his heartbeat filled my ears. This man was not dead and I could smell it. The stench of death was not present.
"He's not dead." I said.

I'm back!!! I was experiencing a writer's block literally one paragraph into this chapter. So I looked at the chapter, reread the others, rewatched the episodes, but I couldn't thick of any way to write the chapter. (That's why the chapter was so terrible) I'll try to do better on actually updating.
