Rilluma's P.O.V
I could see perfectly. What happened next was not a surprise. The light flickered on and everyone noticed the sorrounding. I squinted my eyes looking through the bright lighting. Everyone stared at each other in shock.
"That was brief seperation." Kurapika pointed out.
"Agreed." Leorio stated. Gon and Killua walked towards a pedistle in the room we were in. On top of the table was five arm bands with an x and an o. I walked over to them joining the group as we all took an armband.
"Stop right there little girl. I was told my Netro that you don't count as a person." someone on the intercom said. Everyone stared at me like I was hiding something. I guess it was true but that's besides the point. I put the band back down on the table with a sigh.
"So how does that work? We have five people." Gon asked.
"Her punishment for acting out was for her and her brother act like one person. So in tern everything that a single person does in this challenge, the girl and her brother would have to do together." he said. I put my hands up giving up on the situation before shifting to my cat form and sitting on Killua's shoulder as he clipped on the arm band.
"So we would have to wait for a sixth person then?" Gon asked. I nodded to him and then looked up. I knew where that other door is but nobody up there probably knows about it. Besides, all of the rest of the people up there is probably all stupid.
"So why are you being punished Rilluma?" Kurapika asked.
"It was just a training exercise gone wrong." I said swinging my tail.
"Rilluma tried to kill the chairman." Gon said simply. I hissed bearing all of my teeth at Gon and then I took a deep breath in. There is no point in trying to understand him. He's been confusing me the entire time. I shook out my fur.
"You tried to kill the chairman? Why would you think to do that?!" Leorio screamed.
"It's complicated." I said simply before jumping off of Killua's shoulder and lying down on the ground on his side. I put my head down to the ground and stared at the cement ground. Yes. Very complicated. Killua shook his head and stroked my fur relieving me of a lot of stress. No one said anything after that. Besides Gon, but he was just being himself.
Hours passed as we waited for another person to arrive. I lifted my head as I smelled someone nearing our location. Killua noticed my reaction and looked up to the holes in the ceiling. It was that fat man with the big nose. The one who tried to poison Killua and I. I hissed as he fell to the ground. After hitting the concrete floor he looked back to me and sighed.
"Oh. Um. I guess we're partners in this exam." he told me. I hissed again and then bared my teeth.
"Rilluma. Enough." Killua growled. I looked up to him and then shrugged my cat shoulders before jumping on Killua's shoulders. When the door opened there was already a choice, but Killua and I didn't have to conversate on any of them. They were all really basic, but I was getting tired of the arguing between us.
"I doesn't matter what he does. As long as the rest of us is cooperating then we will be find. Besides, If he does continue doing it then I could always just have Rilluma give him a little lesson." Killua said. I smirked at Tonpa and he grimaced. We continued on until we made it to a large stone stage. Basically we all have to fight. I wanted to go first, but Tonpa volunteered.
We were all surprised to say the least but we let him go.
"I bet he's going to do a fight to the death." I whispered to Killua. He nodded and then Kurapika looked at us in confusion. "He has blood lust. It's small, but it's there. Besides he also is holding himself up way to confidently. It's a fighting stance."
"I suggest a death match." The bald man with scars announced. I closed my eyes. I was right, as usual. Tonpa agreed to the rules and I just spaced off. Then I saw the man rush at Tonpa. I wonder what his blood smells like. Would it be closer to human blood, or pig blood? I love the smell of pig blood. So fatty and tasty.
"I surrender!" Tonpa yelled. I hissed. What?! I don't get to smell Tonpa's blood. That sucks. He came back and decided to give this all out speech. I hate it when people tell their life story. Killua hates it too.
"You know. Your just like a computer bug." Killua spoke. I could feel the agitation and happiness in Killua's voice. "And I hate games that have bugs." I jumped off Killua's shoulders and stocked around Tonpa as I cornered him. I hissed baring my teeth.
"A game with a bug is no fun. So the best thing to do is elliminate that bug." I said.
"You two will be disqualified if you kill me." he said.
"I don't care." Killua said. Then he looked at me. "I doubt Rill does either."
"Tonpa is right. As long as we have all the other wins, we'll still be able to move on. Right Kurapika." Gon asked.
"Yeah. I guess but . . . " Everyone was speechless.
"Thank Gon old man. It's cause of him that you will be living." Killua turned around and started to walk away. I hissed but Killua looked back to me. "I don't think he would taste very good Rill. Might as well let him live." I shrugged and returned to Killua's shoulder.
"Who's next?" the bald man asked from the other side. Killua raised his hand and jumped up and down like a little child.
"Me. I'll go."
"Are you sure?" Killua asked.
"Yeah. Trust me we can win." At that he ran onto the ring with the man.
