Rilluma's P.O.V

Both Killua and Gon took of their jackets, probaby to reduce restrictions in their movements. I stood moving my used to be dislocated shoulder making sure I could use it properly. I did the same to my wrist moving the joint around. It was painful but I think I can manage like this. Just don't think about it as much and you will be fine. That's what my educated guess was anyway.

Killua came back to me and started to talk to me in a soft voice. One that was way too quiet for anyone in the room to hear. I'm not really sure if even he could hear himself. I had to use my animal hearing just to be able to understand him.

"Are you going to play?" he asked me. I shrugged and looked to Netro and the ball. I think it would be a fun game, and he is so much stronger than everyone else is this exam. It's a good way to keep in shape, plus I get to enjoy seeing just how strong the Hunter Chairman is. It would be useful knowledge. "You know what could happen?" he asked me.

"What are you hinting about Kill?" I asked him. His eyes narrowed at me and I just shook my head. He's worried for nothing.

"I'm not going to end up killing the chairman Killua. He's way too advanced for me to kill him. When I'm older maybe, but not right now. I'm just not strong enough." I explained in a small voice.

"Watch yourself Rill. You don't want to kill anyone while this game is in session." he advised.

"Why not?" I said stretching out my arms.

"Killing is not a normal thing in the real world. They will all think we're criminals." he answered.

"We take down criminals Killua. We are not people to be thrown in prison. An assassin's job is not one to land someone behind bars. I'll be fine." Plus, I have those pills to keep me calm. I don't have much left though. This mission requires steady movements and low energy uses. That should keep me from getting to excited.

"Come on kids. Stop whispering to each other and let's get started." Netro announced. I looked to Killua and gave him a crazed smile.

"Well. Let's get this started." I told him. With a sigh he nodded. For some reason, he decided upon himself that he would be the one to go first. In my opinion I thought Gon should go first. He could have been a sacrificial lamb to tell us just how strong the Chairman really is. That's one thing he could be good for.

Killua eyed the chairman with his icy glare before he began to circle. It made me mad how he was just starting out with one of our best moves. He would burn himself out way to quickly and get hurt. It was stupid of me to worry about him so much, we are top assassins and I shouldn't care about bonds with others. All that matters is that I complete my job without hesitation, but I knew that I can't fool myself.

Rill. Oh shit. It's back. Illumi's voice is back in my mind. You want to do it Rilluma. Look at your older brother struggle. You want to prove yourself. You want to attack the chairman and prove yourself to us.

No. Shut up. That's not what I want. That's stupid. Why is he doing this to me? I don't want to have to do anything. Please don't. I knew what he was going to do. He would order me to do something even harder then what he ordered me to do before.

I order you. I want you to fight them and not just the chairman. The chairman, your new little friend, and your beloved brother. You will continue to fight until someone has a life threatening injury. Carry out my orders Rilluma.

My nails and teeth began to grow. My brain throbbed as I tried to fight the feeling of my order. Hate crowded my soul making my eyes blind to what was before me. I charged at Netro ignoring Gon and Killua. Netro jumped out of the way as I went and bit down on his leg. The metal feeling of him shipped my tooth, but I didn't care.

My teeth released and I jumped up farther knocking him off his feet and onto the ground. My hands kept a hold of his shoulders as my nails dug into the underside of him. I went to bite his neck, but something was thrown between me and him. The rubber ball popped over my fangs creating a fowl taste in my mouth.

Yes. Kill. Killing is right.

My bloodlust leaked from my body like a backed up drain making it so much worse. I crossed my arms across my body trying to keep myself from moving. It didn't work either. My eyes widened as I kept my gaze on the ground. The bangs in my face cast a shadow over my eyes.

"I - I." Words began to choke out into my mouth. That okay. Illumi spoke. You've done enough. Go ahead and say it. "surrender. I surrender." Killua watched me from across the room as I tried to get back in control. To everyone else, the words I spoke was just some letters. Killua knew better.

The words that I spoke just now was definitely a Zoldyck secret. We surrender to all superior opponents. That's how Illumi taught us. That was the lesson that he drilled into our minds over and over again. It's just that one lesson that had so many meanings. Killua took one step closer to me and my instincts kicked in.

"RILL!" Killua yelled as I went away. My arms that were once across my chest was now extended to the sides of me in the form of snow owl wings. The rest of my body followed suit. Killua called after me again as I flew out of the room and away from my problems. Or so I thought.

Sorry everyone. I have been really busy lately with my first ever year at the high school. Not to mention cheerleading, cross country, and a recent injury to my foot. I'm so sorry but I am having a huge writers block and I don't know where to go with this story. Please comment and give me some tips.
