Rilluma's P.O.V

Killua hit me in the back of the head when he caught up. The others were catching their breaths as we had our little argument. I can admit that this was not the time to do this, but there was not much I could do about it. Killua was pretty mad at me. We whisper-screamed at each other as the examiner explained what we would be doing next. I held my head in pain.

"You almost lost it." he scolded.

"I'm sorry. I'm trying to control it." I whispered sadly.

"What's that pill for? You never told me you were on medication." he pointed out.

"I didn't want to trouble you." I explained.

"Who gave you the medicine?" he asked.

"Killua -"

"Who?" When I was about to answer Killua I was smacked with a bloodlust. It seemed familiar and I couldn't pinpoint how. It was just there. I don't know who it belonged to, I just think it was familiar. My nails sharpened as I looked for where is came from. Then a man fell dead. He had a playing card through his head and the examiner was holding one too. My bloodlust started to drip and Killua grabbed my forearm with his nails extended. The knife like nails dug into my arm snapping me out of my habit.

"Calm down. He's not after us." he whispered. The examiner was scolding a man with red hair that looked like the Joker. He had very squity eyes, a rock hard build, and a terrifying smile. His look just screemed murderer. Not the fact that he just through a card at the examiner that was set to kill. His number was number 44. I creepy man for it. What a creepy man.

"Killua. You feel that." I asked him.

"Yeah. He's a killer." Killua agreed.

"It's setting me off somehow." I stated.

"I know the feeling." he replied.

"We need to keep our distance from him. He could be dangerous." I stratagized.

"Deffinantly." Then I took a calming deep breath to avoid anymore problems at this moment. I can't waste my pills. If I do then I would be in some serious trouble. It's not like I can walk back home pick up a bottle and leave without being punished for leaving in the first place. If I can calm myself without a drug, then I need to. There are about 15 pills left.

After I calmed myself, Killua and those new guys went into the forest with me following. At the begining Killua was in the front talking with Gon. I don't get the whole friend thing. It doesn't make much sense to me, but Killua seems to like it so I guess I can deal with it. Soon that Karate face Karapika came to the back by me.

"Something bothering you?" he asked. I shrugged. He gave me a questioning stare. His gaze made me feel uncomfortable. I crossed my arms over each other. Karapika still wouldn't look away. I thought he was the smart one. Then he spoke. "So why do you want to become a hunter?"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Your only nine and you want to take the hardest test in the world. What could make you want to be a hunter." he asked me. (I'm going to change her age. For sake of the story line. I'll edit it in later)

"You don't get it. I'm taking the test to watch Kill-" I stopped myself mid-sentence. I just realised it. I didn't take the test for fun like what Killua did. Was my purpose really was just to watch over my older brother? Plus, something told me I was just making his time worse because of this bloodlust thing. The problem is I never had to control it. I always could just kill but apparently things don't work like that here.

"Your just watching your brother?"

"Well why are you taking the test. I mean your smart. Good looking. What all do you need?" he looked away. "It's your drive."

"What?"

"Your drive. Something is making you want to accomplish this test. You have determination to do what ever your mind sets you to do." He didn't reply. "So what is it?" no answer. "Your past maybe." he stiffened.

"Your very perceptive." He sighed.

"I'm very visual. Once you learn to read a person's actions then it's easy to come up with a reason." I explained.

"So what about you."

"I'm not going to reveal my secrets to you."

"Answer me one question and I will answer you one." I had to think about it. Although I want to know his past, I don't want to revel mine. What can I do? I guess the only thing I can do is go along with it. Besides, I can always lie to him. I might not be able to lie to Killua, but I've never tried to lie to anyone else.

"Fine."

"First, how do you know to read people's actions and emotions. It's not like a hobby is it."

"It goes along with my job. I need to be able to tell how to get into people's heads to control them."

"What kind of job do you have."

"Hey! My turn!"

"Right. You can go."

"Why do you look so baby like? How old are you?"

"Okay. That's two questions but I'll grant this as a warning. I don't know why my face is like this, and I'm 17."

"Huh. Your turn."

"What is your job?" He asked me.

"Skip." I said quickly. A little too quickly.

"Sorry. You have to go." Kurapika assured.

"no." I whispered.

"Come on Rilluma." He pried.

"No." I said a little louder.

"Please." he begged.

"NO!" I yelled at him. He flinched. Gon, Killua, and Leorio snapped back to look at me. Killua dissapeared and reappeared right between Kurapika and I. Kurapika stared at me as I turned my head to avoid his gaze. After taking a deep breath I concentrated on Killua.

"Can I talk to Rilluma in quiet please?" he asked everyone.
