I have been seeking refuge ever since the Great Battle that took place right after my marriage with Sir Leon and the wonderful ocassion celebrated in honor of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere who are my friends.

Queen Annis was kind and generous enough to offer me a place to stay. In return, I fight alongside her kingdom. And now, she was almost like a mother to me.

Lucky for me, she has told no one, not even the people of Camelot of where I am refuging. And I became one of the members of her royal court.

Today, I was preparing to go for a patrol. One more thing, Annis had named me Captain leading her army. Annis had said her patrol had spotted at least a number of bandits roaming her borders, she wanted me to make sure her patrols get their facts straight.

"Good allies are hard to find. I'd hate to lost one," Annis once told me before I went on one of her battles.
"I promise, Your Majesty. I'll make it out alive." I had replied.

I swung myself on a warhorse which Annis had presumed is a good steed. I also named him Javelin, under Annis's permission, of course.

I would be leading a couple of Annis's knights out to the forest and scout for a while. I had made friends with a few, and they had volunteered to go with me last night.

"Where have bandits been spotted?" I asked them.
"Over in the clearing," one knight answered, leading the way.
"Of course. They are too out in the open, it'd be easy to spot." I told them, pulling at the reins to get Javelin to stop.

"What do we do now?" Another knight asked.
"We search for tracks and-"

I never got to finish my sentence. Something hit me hard on my head, Annis's knights were dismounting from their rides coming to surround me to protect me.

But it was too late.

I felt dizzy, and Javelin was panicking.

Soon, I blacked out.
