"Lancelot.." I breathed.
I thought my mind was playing with me, but even after I blinked twice, he is still standing there. He still has that smile on his face that would always be in my mind even after he died.
"It gladdens me to see your face again," he smiles.
"You don't know how much I miss you." I looked at him.
Morgana stepped beside us, "It seems that even the love that your dear knight has given you is not enough." She shot a glance at Lancelot, "She left you, you know, for a person you so called your friend." She gestured towards Leon, who was standing at the sidelines, breathless.
I could feel Lancelot staring at me, so was Leon. I don't know what to do. But something doesn't feel right at all. Lancelot is supposed to be dead. I do not know how he survived the attack. But if he did, my friends could have brought him back now.
I shut my eyes, and tightened my grip on the hilt of my sword. I just need to find a way to test him. The real Lancelot would never fall under one of Morgana's spells.
He is smarter than this.
I raised my sword, and glanced at him, "You are not the Lancelot I remember." With a swing of my sword, I sliced through his body, I knew it. He is a shade.
A shade can never stand up against a sword of the dragon's breath. He exploded into unrecognisable pieces that fell on the ground.
And...Morgana is in rage, "How is that possible?!" She shrieked.I smirked, "A sword forged in the dragon's breath." I told her, "It's what the druids said. Actually."
Morgana grumbled furiously, "I will never forget you, Aurora!" She shouted."I know I'll be hard to forget." I paced around her, "And I'll appear specially in your nightmares." I cooed softly.
"It ends here, Morgana! Whether you like it or not!" Arthur shouted, coming over beside me, I gave him a grateful smile for backing me up.Morgana chanted a spell under her breath, and her eyes glowed yellow. By some sort of invisible force, Leon was drawn backwards, his back slamming hard against the wall.
"Leon!" I gasped.
I was thankful Gauis and Gwen immediately rushed over to his side to help and examine if there are any possible injuries. I narrowed my eyes at Morgana, "He was your friend!" I shouted.
"Once," Morgana agreed.
I clenched my teeth, "Camelot is always in your heart before that nasty Morgause blackened it! Jealousy struck your heart. Now you are overwhelmed by revenge!" I yelled, "Uther is dead! You lost one parent! Whose lives do you want to harm now?!"
She kept quiet for a while.
"Arthur's your half-sibling! If you kill him who do you have left?" I practically sounded sad. I have no one else but Leon to trust. And if he dies, well. I'll be all alone.
"You don't know what it feels like to be alone! Being treated like an outsider!" Morgana told me.
"Yes, I do." I said, "All my life I've been in my village alone, my parents, my brother. They're all dead! I'm the last of my kind. I know how it feels. Being alone and mistreated."Morgana bit her lip, "It's different. I have magic you don't. I am at risk living in Camelot under Uther's reign, him refusing magic and all."
"Sometimes magic can be used for good. There are two paths. We all can choose only one. You still can change, Morgana. You can stop your thirst for revenge." I explained.Very well said, Aurora, I congratulated myself.
