Aurora and Leon will remain in
their real age, so they wouldn't have to look old.
The more simpler way to say is ;
They will not age in this book, so keep in mind.
Only Ava will grow older.
So now during the storyline, she is thirteen.

"Mom! When do I get to hold a sword?" Ava complained. She has watched many knights fight for ten straight years, and she kept complaining about it.

Hey, Leon is a knight and I am a Captain, so if our daughter would entertain herself with swords, why not?
I groaned. She has been complaining a lot, and I shot Leon a pleading look, hoping he would back me up in this.

I narrowed my eyes at him when he just stood there on the field and chuckled before resuming his training with Arthur. I turned to face Ava again, who is giving me her pouting look.

"Do you even know how to hold a sword? Or use it?" I asked her. "I can give you one chance to hold one. And if you fail, you won't hold one ever again."

"Yes!" She squealed and jumped up and down and around me, "I love you."
I laughed to myself, "Arthur will train you." I told her.

Her eyes widened with glee, "The King will train me? Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" She hugged me.
I laughed nervously and peeled myself away from her, "Er...yes, he will..., he's one of those arrogant i-know-it-all type of person. So you will need to train him yourself. But please, Ava. Don't kill him."

When Leon came approaching us all sweaty-like, he flashed me a grin and I just gave him a curt nod. I waved to get Arthur's attention and when I did, I shouted, "Arthur! Ava wants to train with you."

I smirked when he gave me a thumbs-up in reply and gestured for Ava to come to the middle of the field and train with swords at first.
"What are you planning to do?" Leon asked me all suspicious-like as Arthur and Ava started by raising their swords, and begun.

I could hear the clash of metal against each other, and saw most of the other knights who were training approach the side of the field to watch Ava and Arthur.

"She thinks she's ready to use a sword. She'll learn pretty soon how hard it is to use one." I folded my arms in front of my chest and watched as the scenes unfold in front of me.

I barely can hold back a laugh when Arthur beated Ava right on the spot. But my fun ended right there. Ava swiped her feet that hit Arthur behind the knee, that's when Ava took control of the whole training.

I was so shocked that my mouth dropped and formed a perfect 'O' shape.

"Oh,

My

God."
