***Anisia's POV***

Mike gave me the job. I was so happy that I rushed down to tell my mum who had just returned back from her work.

"Mom, they gave me the job," I told her and she turned to embrace me.

"Really? They already called you one day later?" she looked surprised but happy too.

"Well, they didn't really call me yet, but Mike will call me in like 4 minutes," I said and she understood what I meant.

"Ahh now I get it. You had a vision right?" she said to make sure.

"Yep. I will be starting tomorrow afternoon, at 3," I explained her.

"But this means that I will not be able to see you as I come home at 3p.m."

"I may ask them to put me mornings sometimes mom. I will not always be away." I know that she knew I was about to leave after all. She knew that I would make it at the academy and that I would leave to study there. At least the academy wasn't in another country, but it is far.

"You will still have to go to the academy so... I would rather hang out with you before you leave me alone here," she said sadly.

"Mom, you are young and beautiful and you will be without your freak. What about you find someone and be happy again? You know this is what I want for you. I have been a burden for too long, please promise you will try and have a nice time while I am gone," I almost pleaded.

She just smiled without answering back and then I had the call from my boss. I already knew what he would say, but he didn't know that I knew. I asked everything that I had to. Then I went back to my room and called Su.

"So you are in the game," Su said when I told her.

"It's not a game Su, it's work. And what about working with your Ethan?" I said jokingly but I knew the weird answer she was about to give me. I wasn't really okay with it because something in me felt weird.

"He is not my Ethan, Sia. He has been always yours," she said. I could sense her disappointment but she wasn't really in love with him. She just needs a boyfriend and I will make sure she finds one this summer or at the uni.

"What do you mean?" as if I didn't know already.

"You know Sia. He is so into you that you have to give him a chance. And I also know you like him too but you are too scared to accept his feelings. He is not James honey. He is an angel," Su said and a few minutes later we hang up.

Wednesday

My first day at work. I wasn't sure if I was dressed right. We didn't have uniforms, so every employee was going to work as he/she wanted but it still had to be kept simple and not provocative. I am wearing a faded colour of grey jeans and a black top. I had my hair in two braids like a little child but it felt comfortable to work with my hair like that. I had seen most of the female staff to wear make up at work, but I didn't put anything on my face. I went there more natural than ever. Therefore, I had this weird feeling of anxiety deep in my stomach. Something made me believe that the reason for it wasn't only one.

"My day just couldn't have started better," I heard a deep sexy voice behind me as I arrived at the front side of the bar at Mike's.

"Why is that so?" I played it cool when I turned to face Ethan.

"We have a new employee I heard. I also heard her name was Sia... So ..." he smiled as sweet as he could. I don't think he can look cuter than that.

"Hmm interesting. Can I meet your new employee then?" I said playfully and he got the point.

"Very funny. So Sia, meet yourself," he said and took something from behind the bar. Then he gave it to me and I saw that it was a batch with my name on it. I was surprised when it was written Sia instead of Anisia. It made me feel more welcome and informal.
