I look over the letter and squeal excitedly only to realize I was going to war, I could- die. I take the letter and put it in the inner pocket of my suit. I needed to sleep, my drunken state wasn't good considering I could barely think straight. I take my suit off and change into a nightgown falling to my bed and feeling a little better. I start thinking about the men I met, they were nice, cute, funny, but they were over 300 years old. I sat for a while and realized how much I missed modern times, how much I missed the crowded subway and the overpriced coffee New York had to offer. I look over at the same box that was in my house and decide I'd take the uniform and pistol when I left tomorrow, and with that thought I drifted off to sleep.

Timeskip brought to you by turtles

I woke up with a massive headache. Drinking that much probably wasn't a good idea. I look around and remember I had to start packing up, I wasn't looking forward to it but, what else could I do? I grab a leather satchel and put paper, ink, and a pen in it, along with my scarf, the letters from before, and the pistol. I quickly put on my suit and my hair up in a bun finishing my outfit with my boots. I look over everything making sure I had all I needed, after I did so I set my bag down and started towards the bar hoping the guys would be there. I walk through the doors to get met with wide eyes, men dressed like me looked with their jaws dropped to the floor. I look around proud and stop at the four men I knew as friends, Laurens had stars in his eyes, Lafayette was grinning widely, Mulligan looked proud, and Alexander looked concerned. I ran to the men and hugged them happily, "You did it! You'll be the first woman to fight in the revolution mon ami!" Laf exclaims "Well you know what we could do to celebrate Y/N?" Laurens asks with a smirk "DRINKS!" Mulligan shouts placing a tray of shots on the table roughly. Alexander and I chuckle at the three men drinking non-stop, until Alexander turns to me. "Why would you want to be in this war? I'm sure your parents aren't happy about it. You're my friend Y/N, I don't want you to get hurt." I look at Alexander as he says his small speech "Especially since you just got here- wait how did you get here, I'd never seen you before the letters incident?" Alexander ask confused. I tense at the question and feel my palms become sweaty, I quickly stand and exit the bar. I hear Alexander follow me and trying to get my attention so, I run. I run as fast as I can to my house and try to lock the door but fail, I continue to try until I see the doorknob twist. I let go in defeat and see Alexander in the doorway. "Tell me now, how did you get here, what's wrong?" He asks sternly. "I- I um I'm an, uh immigrant. Yeah, I came here from er Ireland to uh, fight in the war. I thought it would really mean something if I was the first woman in a war..." I stutter out stumbling on my words and fidgeting with my hands nervously. I hear Alexander chuckle "L/N I'm not one of those people who hate immigrants, jesus I'm an immigrant but, I understand I think you're brave for your decision. You're the strongest woman I've met, and that's saying a lot!" He says smiling at me before bringing me into a hug. I stand stunned at his words and how I got out of that, wait he's hugging me, oh dear god. He let's go and starts to look around, I watch as he picks up the pocket watch necklace I had earlier. "This is pretty, where did you get this?" He asks examining it as I cringe at the truth I didn't tell. He presses the button at the top of it and it opens revealing the time, but it wasn't the time here. It was the time in 2017 I look at him with wide eyes as I realize the unthinkable. "Wait-!" I yell lunging towards him only to be met with a bright flash of blue that somehow sucks us both up until we find ourselves in my basement...
Oh no.
This isn't good.
Alexander Hamilton, is in my basement. I pick myself up and look to Alexander to see him terrified. "Where are we Y/N?" He asks quietly
"Alexander welcome to the year 2017, and more importantly welcome to my house!"
