2- Exes (and oes)

*Beep. Beep. Beep.* Oh, my gosh. I think. What is that aggravating noise coming from my phone? Oh wait, its just my alarm clock. So, Jake said I could join Team 10 if I really wanted, and I do. So, time to get my life together. So, I think i'll start doing that by going to the gym and working out. This habit most likely won't last long, but its better to try it.
I walked over to my suitcase and searched for a gym outfit, but I realized I didn't have any because I didn't pack any. I didn't plan on moving in and staying forever, or as long as I needed. I knocked on Tessa's door. "Hey, Tay." she greeted me kindly, rubbing her eyes. "Oh i'm so sorry, Tes." I said realizing I woke her up. "Its fine, Tay." she replied "What do you need?" "Um so Jake said I could join Team 10 so i w-" "Wait what? Congratulations Tay!" she yellep, hugging me, and she suddenly really woke up. "Thanks, anyway" I say resuming my sentence where she cut me off "I decided if I want to get my life together, I should start doing that by going to the gym, so do you have an outfit I can wear?" "Tay, you're already skinny and stuff, but of course! Feel free to borrow my clothes anytime you want." Tessa said "Thanks." I replied and she went back to sleep while I picked an outfit. This is what I chose.

After I got back from the gym, I changed iuto lazy day clothes and did my hair and makeup. This is what it looked like.

Then I went downstairs to get breakfast. Jake, the twins, Tessa, Chance, and Erika were down there. "Everyone welcome the newest member of team 10, Taylor Brooks." Jake announced and everyone clapped and cheered. Then Emilio walked up to me and gave me a hug. "You look beautiful, Taylor." he said "Thanks, Emi." I replied "I would kiss you," he stated "but I don't want to ruin your lipstick." he whispered. I smiled. "You're the best boyfriend ever." I whispered back "You're the best girlfriend ever. I love you." "I love you too." "Okay, guys, you can pull away from that hug." Tessa said. "Yeah, Emilio, quit being savage." Ivan said and everyone laughed.
"I am savage all the time." Emilio said and everyone laughed. "Anyway, what is for breakfast?" I asked. "We are going to go out for breakfast." Jake said. I still can not believe he tried to kiss me. But, it is not his fault. He didn't know I had feelings for Emilio. Oh well. Also, I can't believe he tried to kiss me; I think I am so ugly. Seriously, I do not care if Tessa says I am beautiful, she is just saying that because we are identical and she thinks shes beautiful, which she is. She is prettier than me. There are slight differences in us though. And our mom says I am beautiful because I am her daughter and she doesn't want me to have low self esteem, which does not help if you get lied to. "What do you think, babe?" Emilio asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. Oh, my gosh. He called me babe for the first time ever! Everyone made "Oooohhhhhh." sounds. "Hm? Sorry, I am a little tired, and I sorta zoned out. Sorry." I kissed him on the cheek, apologizing and everyone repeated the sound. We both blushed.
"I asked if you want to go to Valley Dairy? Their pancakes are the best." He repeated.
"Oh, yeah, sure." I replied. Everyone else agreed and we all walked outside, Jake still vlogging.
"I totally ship you and Emilio." Erika said. "#TEMILIO." I smiled and blushed. "Thanks." I replied.
"BUT," she started. My stomach flipped because it is always bad when someone sys 'but' after they say something nice. "But, be careful what you are getting into. He has some pretty insane ex-girlfriends. Like, Mackenzie Rose or Allison Bernar or even Madison Amies. Be careful, hun." And with that little piece of advice Erika just gave me, I was scared for my life and felt a little threatened. Not by Erika, of course; not by Emilio either. But, I felt threatened by his exes, not by them personally, but by their actions. It kind of creeped me out. Wow. I did not know it was possible for a person to feel this emotion that I was currently feeling.
