The three of us waited in line for about twenty minutes until the bouncer finally let us in. I recognise the loud music, bright blinding lights and strong alcohol. I forgot how much i love this place.

The three of us walked over to the bar and sat down at the stools. I looked over at the VIP area where J would usually be, but i couldn't see any green haired pale skinned clown's in there.

"Can you see him?" Pam asked as i turned back to look at them both.

"Um no. With my luck he probably won't even show." I sighed as i rested my head in my hands.

"Hey cheer up, the three of us can still have fun." Pam said as she put her hand on my shoulder.

I'm starting to think that coming was a bad idea. I mean what if he doesn't want me back? That's a huge possibility.

"Hello ladies, what drinks can i get you?" The bartender asked as he walked over to us.

Pam ordered a piña colada and Selina ordered a gin and tonic on the rocks, but i just asked for a water. Getting drunk is the last thing i need right now. I need to stay focused if i want to do this.

"Okay Haylee, do you know what you're going to say to him?" Selina asked as she turned around in her seat and looked over to the crowd.

"No not really, why?"

"Because your clown boy is here." She said, pointing over to the back doors.

Pam and i turned to look where she is looking, and sure enough there was J, making his way over to the VIP area. People parted away so he could get through, since it's so busy in here and they'd probably die if they didn't.

"So what's the game plan?" Pam asked as the three of us turned back around.

"I didn't get that far." I answered as we all took a sip of our drinks.

I looked back over at the crowd, there's no way in hell i'm getting over to him. So how do i do this?

"Maybe try getting his attention?" Selina suggested.

"How am i supposed to do that? Stand up on the chair and wave my arms around, yelling 'Hey J over here! Notice me! Notice me!'. " I said in a sarcastic tone.

The three of us laughed and took another sip of our drinks. I looked back over at J and noticed he had his back to us. Well great, that makes this a whole lot easier.

"There's no way i'm getting through that crowd, this is useless." I sighed as i pushed some hair out of my face.

"Nah uh Haylee. We dolled you up so you can show that clown what he threw away, so none of this 'giving up' crap. We have to think of something." Pam said in a confident tone.

I looked around the club until i spotted the DJ. Wait i know him, his name is Dylan. Hmm, this just gave me an idea.

"Girls i have an idea, and i want you both to join me." I said as i turned to them with an evil grin.

At first they both had confused looks on their faces, but they then shrugged and we got off our stools. We slowly and eventually pushed our way over to Dylan. I really hope this works.

"Hey Dylan!" I shouted to him over the loud music.

He lifted his head up to look at me and a wide smile spread across his face. He took his headphones off from around his neck and walked over to me.

"Hayleen?! Hey girl how you been? Love the new look." He said as he ruffled his longish brown hair.

"Pretty good actually. Look i need you to do a favor for me." I said and he nodded.

I told him my request and he answered with a 'sure thing', then headed back up onto the stage. I grabbed both the girl's hands and dragged them up onto the stage where three tall gold poles are.

"Alright everybody! I have a request from a good friend of mine, Hayleen- i mean Haylee Quinn, and she would like to dedicate this song to Mr J!" Dylan shouted to everyone over his microphone once the previous song had finished.

Everyone cheered for us as we walked over to the poles. I've never done anything like this before, but hey i'm being super adventurous this week. And besides, this should definitely get J's attention.

Suddenly the music started playing and the three of us danced around the poles to the beat of the song. I'm not sure how I look from down there, but I'm having fun.

I looked back over at the girls and we each smiled at each other. I looked over at the VIP area to see J staring straight at me. I smirked over at him followed by a wink. I can't see the detailed expression on his face from the lights, but i can tell he's surprised.

Once the song finished i did a small curtsy and jumped off the stage, Selina and Pam following behind me. We pushed our way back over to where we were sitting before and sat down at the stools.

"Well, that was fun. But what now?" Pam asked.

I looked back over at the VIP area, but J isn't there. Actually, i can't see him anywhere. Even though this place is packed out his pale skin and bright green hair makes him stand out from everyone.

But i can't see him anywhere. Did he leave? I now he saw me up there, but he still left. Maybe he really doesn't want me back. Maybe this was all just for nothing. I guess he doesn't care about me unlike he said he did.

"Well he's gone, which means there isn't any reason for us to be here. So i guess we should just go home." I sighed as i looked over at them.

"We can come back to mine so we can just chat and drink some wine." Selina said as the three of us stood up.

"Maybe tomorrow night, I'm really tired at the moment." I answered, pushing our way through the sea of people so we could leave.

"Okay then, tomorrow." Pam smiled once we made it outside.

We walked over to Selina's car and all got in, Pam and Selina in the front and me in the back. The drive back to my place was just us with all the windows down, playing the radio as loud as we can and singing loudly along with it. But J never left my mind, and the fact that he doesn't want me anymore.

I really thought he cared about me, and I was actually starting to feel the same way about him. But I guess not. I guess i was just a toy to him, and he had had enough of playing with me. No, the letter he left me said no such thing like that.

He said he's doing this to protect me, but I can very much protect myself. And quite frankly I don't care if there are guys coming after me to kill me, I just want J by my side.

We finally pulled up at my apartment and I got out. I thanked the girls and they drove off. I walked up to  my apartment and unlocked the front door. As i made my way into my bedroom i tried my best to take off my heeled boots without falling over, which i ended up tripping over anyway.

I opened my bedroom door and instantly dropped my boots in my hands. I cupped my mouth and slowly walked towards my bed. I did not expect any of this at all.

He opened his arms and i ran straight into them, wrapping my arms around his neck. That's why he wasn't there at the club, because he was here. He started trailing kisses up from my collar bone and stopped at my ear.

"Hi baby girl."
