I waited on the front steps of the house for Pam to come. Selina wasn't able to hang out with us cause she had other business in Gotham. Suddenly a small black car pulled up in the driveway and Ivy got out. Yay, finally.

I stood up from the steps and walked over to her, each embracing into a hug. We pulled away and headed inside and up to my room.

"So how are you coping with all this?" Pam asked as we sat down on my bed.

"Actually, great. I'm actually enjoying this now, and you could say J and I are friends. Best friends if you will." I smiled over to her, but the expression on her face read 'not impressed'.

"Haylee you can't let him win." She said as she stood up and started pacing around in front of me.

"Ivy honestly it's fine. I chose this, I want this. But not for Joker, but for me. My life sucked before all this, this is way better than serving fussy business people everyday in that stupid cafe, then coming home to my parents that expect nothing but perfection from me." I flopped back onto the bed and stared up at the roof.

It then just occurred to me that I still don't know how Harley really died. Not that I'm all excited to find out, but I have a right to know. I sat back up and looked up at Pam.

"Hey Pam."

"Yes flower?"

"Um, how did Harley die?" That made her instantly stop pacing.

She turned to me with a sad expression on her face. She sighed and sat down next to me on the bed. Something tells me I'm in for a real surprise.

"Well it all happened about a month or two after she left Joker and was then with me. Her and I were happy together, no abusive stuff like the clown did to her. Well us Sirens were out having fun when we came across this factory, and we could hear shouting and a familiar laughter coming from inside. Harley wanted to see what was going on so we went to investigate.

We went inside to find Joker having an argument with a gang leader named George Davis. Joker was un-armed and Davis had a gun pointed at him. Davis was about to shoot but Harley ran and too the bullet for him. It should have been Joker who died that night, not my beloved Harley."

Tears started pouring out of both our eyes as she finished off her story. I didn't know that Harley had actually left J, and that she was then in a relationship with Ivy. And Harley took the bullet for J... but why? She had left him, so why save him? I wish she was alive so i could ask her.

I now also understand why J was so upset when I took the bullet for him the very first time we robbed a bank, because he was afraid the same thing would happen to me for the same reason. And why Selena was disappointed in me for doing it too, cause she didn't want me making the same mistake.

Suddenly my door opened and J stood there with a half angry half upset expression on his face. Had he been listening? It doesn't matter, he knows the whole story.

"Haylee I-"

"No stop! Don't try and kiss her feet for forgiveness. We all know that it's your fault she's gone! And the worst part is you didn't just stop at ruining Harley's life, you went along and ruined Haylee's." Ivy shouted at him, standing up and getting in his face.

J stared at Pam angrily with the slightest hint of sadness, a low growl escaping his lips. Pam stared back at him with the same expression, but I just sat here with tears pouring out of my eyes.

"You had no right to tell her anything." J snapped at Pam.

"She has every right to know, she's her sister!" She shouted back.
