Danny Phantom - Gender Bender (Discontinued)

Prologue

I DO NOT OWN DANNY PHANTOM OR ANY OTHER NAMES ASSOCIATED WITH THE TITLE. THIS STORY HOWEVER REVOLVES AROUND MY ORIGINAL IDEA. HOPE YOU ENJOY!

Oh and this chapter may be a bit dry, it is  the prologue and is basically just for context. Please read on!

They appeared when humans first formed civilised societies. They have no form, no objective or desire. They are ethereal beings that emerged from a parallel dimension. They are just as reckless, destructive, cruel, and as merciful, benevolent and kind as one another. They're names are Phantom and Plasmius.

One is not evil, and one is not good. A knife cannot be either good or evil, it all depends on the wielder of the weapon. And that's all these beings are.

They would choose a person to wield their power every few hundred years. And for the most part, they chose good people, people who had desire to benefit their village, country or the world. Most times, Phantom and Plasmius would never meet, for their benevolence tied them to one place and gave them the desire only to help. But mistales can happen. One would possess a malicious and selfish person, and the opposite desires would attract them together, no matter how far apart they were, and they would fight until the death, leaving a path of destructiom in their wake.  It has only occured 12 times in the past 6,000 years since their arrival on this plane. Sometimes the Phantom was the war monger, sometimes it was Plasmius - it all depended on the human.

In the year of 1985 Plasmius chose their human. Phantom however waited until the year 2014 to choose their human. And now this is an unheard of event! It quickly became apparent to Plasmius that they had chosen a very egotistical and intelligent ecto-scientist by the name of Vladimir Masters. And they bonded ever so quickly. But something was missing. Plasmius was left in a void for so many years wondering, "Where is Phantom?"

He grew impatient, and deliberately sabotaged his sister's ghost portal in order for his stupid, insolent brother-in-law Jack Fenton to attract Phantom. It was a bust. In the year 2014, after thousands of years of routine fighting or avoidance, Master's impatience would be the downfall of Plasmius. In his ignorance and naivete, Vlad Plasmius had created the ultimate enemy: Danny Phantom...

When she first came into being, Vlad Plasmius trained himself profusely. Yes he was very powerful as he was, but never had he had a chance to fight another ghost, at least not the Phantom. Something did not sit right inside him. This was a teenage girl which the Phantom had chosen. It was odd and he was very suspicious of her. It was sad, though. Danny was his niece, and he had admired her, as much as he could anyway. She was always kind, always understanding, and cared for him despite his distasteful character. Her intentions were always in the right place, however not so well executed. What was also odd was that in all of the hardships placed on such a young girl, she had handled it surprisingly - annoyingly - well. Nothing like he did when he gained his powers.

It angered him. He forced the Phantom to choose its host in order to fight, but Danny would have none of it, at least for the first few months. She would always try to talk and negotiate (despite her arrogance and naïveté). But once she discovered that Plasmius was her shifty uncle, he could see the fire in her eyes grow and he was pleased. He finally broke her just after a year of her gaining the powers. He used her fierce temper to his advantage. And slowly the Phantom awoke inside her. He made it his duty to ruin her life to speed up the process. He no longer felt the humanity he once did. After all, Plasmius had almost 30 years to corrupt Masters. It was nearing the time where the Phantom and Plasmius would fight once again.

Danny Phantom was haunted by her evil future self, Dan. She had a plethora of enemies in the Ghost Zone, including Skulker, Desiree, Box Ghost and Technus who taunted her on a regular basis. Her parents were neglectful. And she had one major weakness: her care for others. These, Plasmius thought, would be the tools to destroy her.
