Hey look, an actual chapter! Hope you enjoy (and remember what happened last chapter!)
With a four-way fist bump, the others departed to their stations, leaving Danny in the centre of a deserted road. The entire CBD has been shut down for the hunt. It was eerie, seeing the usually hectic city like this; not a soul was to be seen, and the wind whistled through the skyscrapers. She listened out for the sound of motors, but there was nothing - until she heard the clank and buzz of the Fenton Assult Vehicle ramming down York Street, followed suit by several other armed trucks. Turning herself invisible, she alerted her colleagues.
They're here. She felt her friends ready themselves mentally as she stepped onto the path and into an alleyway. The army of trucks pulled up just in front of her and the personnel hopped out in disciplined fashion, their white suits gleaming in the early sun. The hunters were split into four ranks of twelve, then followed a commander through the city, disappearing around the corners of buildings. Jack and Maddie jumped out too, cocking their ecto-rifles and walking to Agent White and Agent Black, who's skin colour were the reverse of their names.
"A good day for a hunt, Fentons!" Black said, taking in a large sniff of the surroundings.
"Indeed it is, sir. Let's activate the pods." With a firm nod, White turned his attention to his smart watch and pressed a button. After a few seconds of nothing, a wave of pain seared through Danny's body, scraping every fiber of her being. She held back a gag as she looked at her armband to check if she was in the right place. With an internal grunt she conceded to her situation. Dam, those things are strong. Holding onto the dumpster for help, she perked up at the sounds of disgruntled and gurgling screeches echoing around the city. The hunt had officially begun.

Tucker had perched herself on the rooftop of a building tall enough to overlook the entire pod-filled area. She had decided to do as little physical fighting as possible, so had placed traps all around her line of sight. If a ghost flew too near, she'd snap it up all right. At the sound of the pained screams, her blood chilled and goosbumps formed on her arms. Those weren't battle cries - those were painful howls. Whatever those pods were doing to the ghosts, she knew was happening to Danny too. Hopefully she was far enough away from the pods to not feel the effects too greatly. She shook her head and planted her feet firmly on the gravel, grunting and activating her tablet. She had installed ecto and thermal reading capabilities into the helmets for this very fight, and could see the green blobs emerging from their hollows. The helmets were shaped like a gladiator's, plates covering the cheeks down to the mouth, and their eyes shaded by a tinted, electronic visor.
"Whoa." Her eyes widened. Soon, her entire vision was filled with green readings. "What has Vlad done?" She jerked her head to the ground below her and hit a button on her tablet. That ghost was either green goop, or safely back in the ghost zone- or in a thermos. She had planted so many traps, she didn't know which one did which. Ah well, she thought, if everything goes to plan, this should be over in no time.

Sam hurled himself towards a blue figure and zapped him. The creature growled then launched at Sam, who simply sucked him up into a thermos. "One down," he checked his goggles, "and like a gazillion to go." He leapt onto his overboard and darted towards a cluster of ghosts. "Woohoo! Say goodnight, ghosts!" He blasted them with his wrist rays, but they merely created holes that filled almost immediately. He zoomed around them and grinned. "Maybe this'll do the trick." Hovering in front of the pack, he drew a Fenton Foamer from his back back and shot. The green slime stuck to the ghosts and glued them to the pavement. "Ha! This is almost too easy." But just as he uttered those words, a thin, snake like ghost whooshed past him, causing him to stumble off his board.
