Was it a dream or was it a memory? Or was it both? It didn't matter; it happened, it was happening, it could happen. This temporal ambiguity was the fear, the terror and the knife in the dark...

Tucker, Sam and Danny had landed in the future. The year was 2024 and Sydney was in a post apocalyptic sea of dust and crumbled buildings and death. Large poles surrounded the entire city and had once radiated a ghost shield, but now they lay in ruin as the red sky beat down upon the grey earth. A horrible screech ran out, causing the group to cover their ears in agony. It was like a banshee's cry, shrill and piercing, with a dark undertone which resonated within the bodies of all that heard it. Danny brushed herself off and gaped at the city as the howl ended. A browned and burned billboard lay limply atop a degrading building. Through the faded paint and dust it read 'Welcome to Amity Park: the Town of Ghosts'.
"No!" Danny had cried. A whirring noise distracted the trio from their horrid surroundings, and out through the sentiment and thick air a figure in red flew up to them on a hover board. It was Valentino. "Val!" Dream Danny called out. He drew a gun and shot a ghost net at her. It ensnared her and caused the halfa to crumple up into a ball. She stared with wide, fear stricken eyes at the Red Hunter.
"I have you now, Phantom!" he yelled. He hopped off his board and ran up to the halfa, aiming another gun at her. Tucker and Sam jumped in front of their friend.
"No!" they shouted in unison. "Valentino, what are you doing?"
He hesitated and dropped his gun, taking a few steps back. "N-n-no! I-it cant be! You d-died ten years ago!"
"Died?!" Danny screeched through the net.
"In the Nasty Burger explosion, with Danny's family...And it was all your fault!" He shoved the two aside and re-aimed the gun. "All of this is your fault, Dan Phantom! Say goodbye forever you ghost scum!" But before he could pull the trigger, a body slammed into him, sending him flying into a wall. The figure was tall and broad. She turned around to face Danny, a ghoulish, fang filled smirked on her pale face. Her eyes were blazing scarlet and her short white hair was flaming atop her head. Pointed ears stuck out of the side of her face. She wore a short, black, skin tight top, much like the material of Danny's bodysuit. Her bulky legs were covered with full length leggings and silver boots. She wore silver gloves too, and a large black cape. Danny took all of this in, but it finally hit her. Her very own 'DP' insignia was blaring white on the ghost's chest.
The new ghost turned to Valentino. "Oh, Val. This isn't me." She chuckled and leaned down to view Danny. "But it soon will be." Her deep laugh boomed unnervingly around the broken street. She stood up and observed Tucker and Sam, who meekly held their weapons at the villain. "Oh my dear Sam and Tucker, long time no see. But I guess that's because I killed you. And Maddie and Jack and Jasper.... And Lancer, and Vlad... Ah, good times. I suppose this would be a really touching poetic moment, if I had a single ounce of humanity left inside me." Her body shook violently as she laughed again manically. "Which I don't... I was wondering when this day would come, Danny. And I gotta say, I almost forgot how thin and small I used to be." She ripped the ghost net open with ease and squished Danny's face. "But I still have that cute baby face, don't I?" She let go and stood over the halfa, hands on her hips.
