At Frostbite's the next day...

"Uh, what are those, Frostbite?" Tucker inquired pointing at the dozens of variously shaped droids positioned in the great icy canyon.

"I am glad you asked, dear Tucker." Frostbite activated a droid with his remote control and flew one towards them. It hovered just above their heads and made metallic whirring noises that resonated around the canyon. "These are what I call ecto-droids. They simulate the actions and abilities of ghosts which Danny fights. See here." He pressed a button and the droid moulded into the shape of one of Walker's guards. "Recognise this guy?"

"Yeah. Ran into a few of those pin heads on the way here. We made short work of them." Danny raised an eyebrow and smirked at her friends. Frostbite seemed pleased, and then flew another droid towards them. He pressed multiple buttons and the droid transformed into a robotic version of Desiree. It resembled her perfectly, except it had metallic skin rather than lime skin. Her curvy body, long black hair and genie tail were perfectly captured in the droid, as well as her hypnotising eyes. With another command Frostbite pushed into the remote, robo-Desiree shot a ball of ecto plasm at the halfa. Completely unprepared, the energy ball smacked Danny square in the face and sent her flying. As she floated back to the group, a hand over her sore nose, Frostbite beamed like a proud child. "How real does that feel, O Great One?"

"Very real. Hurts just like her blasts. But, uh, can we just start with those guard-droids for now?"

The ice bear shook his head firmly. "Oh no, no, no! I am going to be throwing you in the deep end, Danielle. Plasmius already has too much of an advantage over you; there is no time to lose!"

Sam stepped forward, a Fenton ecto rifle slumped lazily across his shoulder. "Well, it's not like Vlad's gonna attack tomorrow. We don't even know what he's planning, or even if he is planning something. Why not start easy then go harder?" Tucker nodded in agreement, stepping aside from the droid she was analysing.

"Oh he's planning something, alright," Danny stated. "And he has been waiting so long for the Phantom to awaken so he isn't going to delay his master plan (whatever that is) any longer. Frostbite's right, guys. I have to go hard or go home!" She assumed her hero stance, her legs shoulder width apart and her fist clenched in front of her. Sam furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah, but Danny, like don't take this the wrong way or anything, but are you strong enough to take on all of those?" He pointed at the now hovering drones. "Especially if they assume the shapes and abilities of all of your enemies."

Frostbite pouted slightly. "Danny is more than capable of handling all of them, have you not seen her new-" Danny grunted and threw up a hand to cut him off. "What? Have you not told them-" The halfa glared at him. He chomped his jaws shut and said no more.

"What is it Danny?" Tucker asked, her arms folded. "What haven't you told us? Has this got something to do with your miraculous power yesterday?"

Danny avoided her question and turned to the frost bear. "I know I can take them all on it's just that, I don't know if it will be completely me, ya feel me?" Frostbite twisted his nose and glanced away trying to comprehend her words. Sam and Tucker shrugged at each other. "What I mean is that while I do have all of this power, sometimes it doesn't feel like I'm the one controlling it."

"Like yesterday, you mean?" Sam huffed. Danny tuned around, expecting his violet glare, but was instead met with deep concern. She lowered her eyes.

"Yeah." She rubbed the back of her neck. "Well, I wanted to use all of that on Skulker for blasting you, but I guess I took it a little too far."

"'A little too far'?" Tucker repeated. "Danny, you scared Valentino right out of his little red boots!"

"I did?"
