On the walk to school the next morning, after a restless but otherwise quiet night (for there had only been a few stray ghosts lingering around the town) Danny told her friends all that Frostbite had said. After she did, she allowed the silence that followed to run on as long as it needed to. It was a terribly confusing concept to take in.
"I don't believe you," Sam finally said.
"Yeah, well, I believe the whole ancient ghost part but not the telepathy," Tucker said with conviction.
Sam stopped walking and held out his hands in disbelief. "No, I believe the telepathy, but not the ancient ghosts. How is telepathy less easy to believe than that?" Danny giggled and Tucker shrugged innocently.
"Alright," Danny began, standing in front of them. "I'll prove my telepathy to you, Tuck. Though, I don't know how I'm gonna prove the rest of it to you, Sam."
She readied herself and stared straight into their eyes. Is this telepathic enough for you? Danny thought with a grin. Sam raised an eyebrow and Tucker just kept her smug smile and crossed her arms. After realising it wasn't working, Danny frowned. Oh it was working before. She looked about wondering what to do. Tucker chuckled and continued walking. Sam shrugged with a slight turn of the lips and followed. Danny stood there and stomped her foot on the ground. Oh, why isn't it working? Phantom?
Phantom....I am here. She felt the ethereal presence of her possessor fill her mind. She had been practicing activating the telepathy all the way from Frostbite's kingdom and all of this morning. Phantom. I am Danny Phantom and I have telepathy. Don't believe me, Tuck. Well listen to this!
She beamed the song 'On Top of the World' through her head to her friends. She leant on one hip and humphed triumphantly waiting for their reaction.
"Tuck, can you turn that off, please? It's too happy for goths," Sam said hunching over.
The pair stopped walking again. "Me?" Tucker began. "I thought it was you." They both took out their phones, but neither of them were playing music. They turned to Danny who was a few meters behind them looking rather pleased with herself. "Is it you, Danny?"
She took out her phone and waved it at them, lighting up the screen to show that her music wasn't on either. She shoved it back in her school skirt pocket and her grin grew. How's that for ya, Tuck?"
Tucker and Sam jumped back. Her lips had not moved, but they definitely heard her speak.
"Nah, man, that ain't real," Sam said despite having believed her story earlier.
Are you so sure about that, Mister Manson? He gasped loudly.
"No way! That's awesome! And weird, very weird." Danny laughed out loud and walked up to him, hooked her arm around his and continued onto school. Meanwhile, Tucker had taken off her beret and was scratching her head. When she realised that they had marched on, she quickly spun around and chased after them.

As they arrived at school, entering through the front office, Danny's ghost sense went off. She paused mid stride and furrowed her brows. "Plasmius" she hissed quietly.
"What? How can you tell?" Sam put a hand on her shoulder.
The halfa straightened up and relaxed her face a bit. "I'm not sure, actually." But as she turned her head slightly to the left, peering into the principal's office, she could see him and she gasped. Her friends followed her gaze and did the same.
