"What does it feel like to have depression?"
Depression is like
Drowning while watching
Everyone else around you
Breathe
It's like that one
Negative person in a group
That just switches off
Your good vibes
It's like a rain cloud
That will not go away
No matter what you do
"What's your biggest challenge with depression?"
If I had to name
One challenge I face
With depression
It would be the thoughts
That creep upon my mind
At night that leave
Me sleepless
They make me over think
And I would try everything I could
To make it stop
I'd try to find people
To talk to
Or even try one of my
Coping skills
But once all fails
To work
I just lay back
And just feel this feeling
And it feels like
I'm just falling apart
And then I just
Remember when I was
A little girl
When I was carefree
And it just hurts because
Now I don't love myself
As much as I use to
I can't do anything I love
Without the feeling of self doubt
The thoughts of running away
And suicide constantly
Overcome my thoughts
I constantly push people
Away so I won't
Risks feeling anymore pain
And suddenly
My emotions are erased
And just left with emptiness
I just watch everything crumble
And just stare blankly
