Chapter Four

I woke up the next morning with extreme fear for what today will hold. It was the first day I had to save a guy that I barley know who I hate from killing himself. That's a lot of pressure.

I still couldn't believe all that's happen yesterday, or 30 days in the future to yesterday. For me, it still felt like a day. That was probably the weirdest "day" I've ever had to experience. No girl on earth would ever experience accidental time travel and seeing Father Time in person.

When I got up from bed, I immediately remembered we had pancakes for breakfast at some point in time. It's nice to know how everyday would turn out. As far as I was concerned, pancakes were for breakfast today. My dad was going to over cook them and I was just going to take a pop tart on the walk to school.

"Good morning Dad!" I greeted as I skipped into the kitchen with a nervous grin

"Good morning Sarah, did you get a good sleep?" asked my dad

Of course I didn't have a good sleep, I almost got sent to hell last night and I'm being sent on the impossible mission.

"Yeah, best sleep I've had in years"

"I'm glad"

"Hey, how long have you been cooking those pancakes?" I asked

Panic immediately swung over my dad's face, realizing that he almost forgot about breakfast. My dad wasn't that good of a cook. Half of my diet was take out Chinese food because my dad always messed up on the meals. And yet, he still tries.

"You reminded me just in time" said my dad as he put some perfect pancakes on a plate

"You're welcome"

Eating good pancakes were definitely a good start to my day. After I ate them, I rode my bike to school, my bike was just peacefully sitting in my garage, as if it never fell through a manhole.

Soon, I got to school and I had my first five periods, like usual. It was so cool that I knew everything the teacher was teaching. There was also some stuff in school I was struggling with and all of a sudden, it hit me. Perhaps repeating classes will make me smarter. Then, it was lunch, I was walking into the cafeteria.

"Omg Sarah, aren't you so excited for the prom in three weeks?" asked Hanna as her and Tracey walked up to me. Ah, my bffs, at least they are still here. I'm still a little mad about them not caring about Mike but I didn't go on this mission at first either so I guess were even.

"Yeah, totally, I got the feeling that the principal is going to bump into the table with punch and spill punch on the popular girls dresses" I told

"Wow, that's specific" said Tracey "For the next three weeks, let's only talk about prom". It's actually going to be fun to experience my senior prom again, since I already experienced it before I got thrown back in time.

All of a sudden in the corner of my eye, I saw Mike eating his lunch all alone. The same scowl on his face was there from yesterday when I fought with him. He looked so intimidating and angry, it sent chills through my spine.

"Hey, maybe we should eat lunch with that kid over there" I suggested, pointing over to Mike

"Mike Willis?" asked Tracey with disgust. They didn't even know him and they already despise him. At least I had an incident with him.

"Yeah, he just looks so alone, I feel so bad for him"

"I don't really know if I want to sit with him" said Hanna

"Yeah, he's such a social pariah" said Tracy with rolling eyes

"Let's sit at our table like we always do" suggested Hanna
