Kimberly Stratus was a doctor working at one of the best hospitals in America. She loses her license and ability to practice due to, as punishmen...
"Dinner?" I asked, wondering if I heard right. Beside me, Marcella's jaw dropped.
"Yeah. I never properly thanked you for saving me." He explained.
"I don't know," I said. My mind wondered to what Marcella said the night I met her.
"I'm not taking no for an answer, Kimberly." He firmly said, "See you at 8."
The phone call ended. I stood still, processing what happened.
"I'm going to go to the bathroom," I told Marcella as I handed her phone back.
I walked down the hall and entered the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror as I went over my thoughts. I had a bad feeling about this. Marcella once brought up that he had never been in a relationship before, only spending one night stands for sexual release.
I didn't want to end up like the other girls. I rolled my eyes and looked at myself in the mirror. Is that what you think this dinner is going to lead to? I mentally told myself in the mirror. He only wants to say thanks, I shrugged.
"I knew he was trying to get into your pants." I heard Marcella from outside.
I opened the door to see her back. Marcella was cupping her ears towards the door, waiting for my reply.
"Marcella." I laughed, "You're talking to the closet."

I looked at myself in the body length mirror. I was back at the mafia house. Before getting ready, I had enough time to unpack my things and organize my room. I was wearing a black lace dress with red heels. My black clutch had gold studs matched well with my jewelry.

There was a knock at my door, and I looked down at my watch, 7:55.
I opened my door and smiled when I saw it was Matteo.
"You're here early." I teased.
"Couldn't wait." He shrugged.
"Where are we going?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.
"To get dinner."
I rolled my eyes, "Where are we going to get dinner?"
"You'll see."
He leads me out the door. Outside, there was already a car in the driveway. He opened the passenger door for me when we reached the black vehicle. After I was seated, he closed the door and went around the car. As he did, I took this time to check him out.
