Luke took Maya's hand as Lilly took Lucas's and positioned herself in between Maya and Lucas, shyly reaching out for Maya's hand which she gladly took. The four walked up to the kindergarten.
"Hey you two." Riley smiled as she met them, bending down to greet Lilly and Luke first, before they ran off to play.
Riley stood up and smirked at her two friends and Maya looked down, blushing heavily while Lucas scratched the back of his neck uncomfortably.
"Well, ill be off! I have an appointment at the vet." Lucas said, before rushing off and Maya, too, hurried a goodbye to Riley and left.

Maya hurried into Starbucks to grab some coffee before an appointment with a local museum regarding a few of her art pieces. Surprisingly, she saw Lucas there.
"Great." She muttered, rolling her eyeballs, "Just who i wanted to meet."
She looked down, trying to avoid being spotted, but to no avail.
"Hey, Maya."
She looked up.
"Ranger Rick! Why are you here? Quit following me."
Lucas gave her an amused expression as he grabbed his cappuccino and replied with a cock of his head and an eyebrow raised,
"How can i be following you if i got here first?"
Maya grumbled and crossed her arms, before grabbing her frappe and changing the topic, "Luke has been asking if Lilly could come over to play. I can babysit her too. Im sure being an only child is boring when your parents are busy."
Lucas grinned, "Sure. I have an appointment at the vets until night and i need to keep a lookout for one of the pets at my office, so i needed a babysitter. Ill come pick her up at..."
"Ill send her to school tomorrow morning and you can pick her up after school?"
"Sure!"
Both smiled and went their seperate ways.
