Prologue

Unknown's POV

"Kill them! All of them! Let no one in their bloodline live."

"Yes sir!"

My men were dismissed and I sat back down onto my seat behind my desk.

"Calm down cupcake. No need to be this tensed."

I turned towards my lovely angel. She's the only one keeping me sane over these years.

I have been destroying the threat that has been occuring to me and my people that it's driving me crazy.

I needed to kill every one of those vampire angels, no one should live. They're a danger to me, and my kind. I cannot spare them.

Angelica's POV

"Run Angelica run!"

I breathed heavily looking at my mom who was staring at me in panic at the opening of the passage.

"Know that your dad and I love you okay?"

She had tears in her eyes while she placed her palms on my cheeks.

"M-mom."

"Shh, you need to survive darling. For us, and when the time's right, you can avenge us. Take this with you."

She took off her diamond necklace which she always wears and never takes off.

"This will remind you of us, of all the happiness we had."

I was sobbing hysterically and I gave my mother a long lasting hug.

"I love you."

I whispered on her shoulders and she let go of me and walked back and soon, the opening of the passage way was closed, leaving me in a dimly lit hall.

I need to run, I've got to escape, for my parents.

With that, I shot the wall which was once an opening a last long look and sprinted out the other direction, hoping that I would reach somewhere safe.
