Chapter Thirty Nine

Jeonghan's POV

"How could you let this happen?!" Seungcheol shouted from behind his desk which made my 10 brothers flinched including Rebecca.

"We're sorry Seungcheol. We didn't know they were in the mansion." Hoshi spoke apologetically while I patted his shoulder.

"You guys are not at fault here. We don't blame you. Seungcheol calm down. We'll find her." I scolded him as he groaned and just sat back down knowing what will happen if he defies me.

"Anyone have any ideas on how to find her?" Jisoo asked while we all thought about it until someone cleared their throat.

I turned towards the Angels who were standing on the side, looking like they didn't want to disturb us as I stared at the one in particular who cleared his throat.

"If you could get me something, like maybe a lock of her hair? I can use my Angel powers to search for her. She's half Angel so I can track her Angel aura." He recommended while my eyes widened and I turned to Seungcheol.

He was also surprised before going through his drawers and pulling out a hairbrush while Jisoo, who was standing beside me, and I stared at him with our mouths open.

Seungcheol handed the brush to the Angel, whose name was Jungkook, before turning to us.

"Why do you have Angelica's brush?" I asked with my arms crossed and an eyebrow raised while he just rubbed the back of his head.

"When she needs it and doesn't want to walk back to her room, I just had it installed there. Sometimes it comes in handy." He stated with a shrug which had me shaking my head.

"Okay! Now's not a time to discuss Seungcheol's emergency plans, let's just get on with it." Dino stated which had me snapping back to reality and turning to Jungkook.

"So do you think you can track her?" Jisoo asked while Jungkook did his thing as the lock of Angelica's hair started glowing and floating while Jungkook had his eyes closed.

"I got it, follow me!" He spoke and quickly sprinted out of the room with us following on tow. When we exited the house, the angels grew their wings and flew fast, while we vampire started running with speed.

Hold on Angelica. We're coming to save you.

Angelica's POV

I struggled hard against the chains hoping it would budge and my vampire powers to strengthen up but it wasn't working.

It must have been two hours since I've woken up and was stuck in this position.

While I tried to wiggle my feet, the door flew open and in came the demon himself with a mischievous smile on his face and behind him were many kinds of weapons.

My eyes glazed over many silver objects designed into many things while the guy named Cole picked a silver stake up and slowly walked towards me.

"I'm so going to enjoy torturing you before I actually kill you." He spoke in joy and with a glint in his eyes while he traced the part of my waist with the stake.

"Let's start with the living things growing inside you don't we?" He stated while my eyes widened at what he said.

Living things?

Then suddenly, I heard three tiny heartbeat and my eyes immediately formed tears.

I'm pregnant.

His hand retreated and started advancing while I screamed 'No' and shut my eyes waiting for impact before the windows broke and in entered Angels.

Cole retreated and stared at them with wide eyes while I smiled in happiness to see them.

"Don't worry my Goddess. We'll save you." JB spoke while tears fell from my eyes.

"No you won't. Demons! Get them!" Cole exclaimed and soon many demons appeared and lunged themselves at the Angels.

"Oh no they don't." Soon my mates and their brothers sped up from the window and tackled the demons down and slowly killed them one by one.

Then I felt someone touching me and I turned around abruptly and my eyes softened seeing it was Rebecca as she broke the chains.

I was free and she immediately pulled me towards the broken down window but I stopped myself.

"What are you doing Angelica? We need to get you somewhere safe." She whispered while I stared at the chaos in front of me.

"They don't stand a chance Rebecca." I said while looking at the Angels and Vampires fighting a whole lot of demons.

There's only one person who was able to defeat the demons once, and it was the last Goddess of the Vampire Angels.

The witch's voice rang in my head as I stared at all of them.

I walked front and soon a gust of wind flew past me and I felt someone holding me captive with the silver stake hovering above my heart.

"Everyone stop!" Cole's voice rang through the whole room and everyone stopped immediately and turned towards our position.

Seungcheol, Jeonghan and Jisoo were all staring at me with wide eyes and fear painted on their faces.

"Make one move and she's done. Along with the three living things inside her." He spoke as their eyes widened and tears started to fall down my face.

"Angelica..." Seungcheol whispered while I slowly lifted my hand and place it on my stomach.

Their eyes followed my hands as they stared at my stomach and I'm sure they hear the three tiny heartbeats from it.

I could see their eyes glistening and I smiled with tears in my eyes as I looked at them straight in the eyes and towards the rest.

I slowly placed my hands on my side after staring at all of them and slowly closed my eyes.

"You can do it honey. We believe in you." My mother's voice echoed in my head as I concentrated everything into the one thing the demons of darkness hates the most.

Light.

"Say goodbye to your precious mate." Cole said wickedly as he advanced the stake towards my heart but I opened my eyes immediately and soon the stake turned into dust.

"What?" Cole looked down at his hands as he retreated back and I stared at him with my red eyes.

I transformed into my full self and flew up while I felt all my power surging out of me.

I stared into his eyes while he cowered in fear.

I light upon on which is dark,
Never before will it be locked,
I open the gates of which they be,
No more darkness forever and free.

I chanted the words while a glowing light formed from my hands and soon I spread it out causing the demons to holler in pain and soon vanished into thin air.

It goes on about another minute until I flew back down and transformed back into my normal self and fainted.

The last thing I heard was my name being called and a pair of arms being wrapped around me.
